I don't think so. I think they just want to fit as many Rebel and TFA ships into the game as they can while those things are still popular and part of the current star wars universe.

There's only so many TFA and Rebels ships they can put in at a time, so this doesn't mean we'll not see any EU ships being added in.

A correction would be, We won't see EU ships in the near or even semi-long future. Disney's gonna be pulling a Marvel with SW and releasing movies every year at least to 2020. And lets be honest, they brought Thrawn back, it's not unlikely some popular EU designs will get back in.

Ahsoka should have been in an A-Wing expansion with another Hera pilot, Dicer, and a generic 'Phoenix Squadron' pilot. Captain Rex should have been a crew upgrade.

I'd way, WAY rather have a new ship (even one I'm not hugely excited about) than an A-Wing repaint.

Just initial negativity to not seeing what I wanted after being super hyped for the reveal. And let me tell you, I did NOT want this. And yes, thank goodness there is no generics. Not sure if it will see the table much considering Tie Fighters for Imps are hardly ever flown on their lonesome.

To me this gives me hope of a Rebel captured shuttle. That is all.

That I get, but I don't get why people are so hurt over Sabines Tie... I mean honestly anyone surprised by this has either not been paying attention to anything Star Wars related for the last 3 or so years.If it were a generic Tie Fighter, then that would be different, but Sabines Tie is not a generic tie, and it looks to add quite few interesting options to the Rebel fleet.

I dunno why people would be so angry about it being included in the game, The reason I'm disappointed (not angry) though is because it essentially was a big screw you to anyone that still wanted EU ships. It's basically them saying, "Yea we can scrape the bottom of the barrel until more canon ships come around, stay tuned for Wave 11's Tyderrium shuttle, and the Imperial Z-95 flown by Clone vets!"

And this right here is what I feel people are angry about. Theyre upset they arent getting eu shipsxthat are no longer canon. But the odds of getting noncanon ships when theres canon stuff that could be done are slim-to-none at this point. The gunboat and avenger arent coming. Get over it.

I dunno, it's not awful, it's just...an odd choice. And that it's such an odd 'scraping the bottom of the barrel in canon so as to avoid touching the EU at all' choice...bodes ill for some EU ships people do still WANT to see...

Except Rex is a crew card. He's the only one in the pack.

Ugh. I try to be optimistic, but honestly, putting that thing in the game seems more desperate than making up your own ship. It's literally in the movie just so they can say "that ship's garbage."

No they actually wanted to take that ship until it got blown up. The Falcon was the garbage ship.

I can't be mad at rebel tie cause all uniques. I actually like the idea of scum tugboat. Upsilon.. ugh, I know it had to happen, but I don't like it. I will buy them... but I will be salty.

I want you to all know, I'm done whining, and I am now looking at how this wave is cool. Quadjumper is an interesting utility piece, Bat shuttle is big and has new action for 100 point and will bring some great upgrades I'm sure, and Sabine's Tie is... Well... I'll learn to live with it, and I guess a thematic build of The Ghost, Phantom and her Tie will make some people happy.

I love my new Palpshuttle, I'm meh on everything else. Coordinate alone is reason enough for the extra cost, it especially helps out OL, who is very action dependent and doesn't take PTL.

Really? This thing puts the Ghost to shame as far as size goes. Heck, it puts the TIE carrier and Rebel transport to shame!

The blades should be very slightly longer than the Falcon (37m compared to 34.52m) . A pic of the Falcon compared to a Large base, should give an idea of how much smaller it is than it should be.

Ghost is wider all around but the Upsilon has a vastly wider wingspan. Which points upward so it isnt as much of a problem.

Had a game where i ran a ghost vs a double ghost list. After turn3, we took our ships off the base lol

The Upsilon is badass. It's the best ship design in The Force Awakens and just reeks cool.

The Quad Jumper has a cool model and looks to be a very wacky design.

Not a fan of the Rebel TIE though. I watched Rebels, I thought Sabine's TIE was funny, but it really didn't need to a be an official release. Rebels should not be fielding TIE Fighters any more than Imperials should be fielding X-Wings.

Sadly, Rebels are my favorite faction. Guess I still have Heroes of the Resistance.
