So what is everyone's thoughts on Wave 9? Pretty great huh? Ya, maybe the ARC wasn't super exciting, and the Tie/SF dial isn't up to some players desires, but it's a pretty good wave. We should be happy with it, because who knows what awful choices FFG might make for new ship additions in the future. Can you imagine if FFG ever got so desperate they released a Tie Fighter for Rebels? Thank goodness we aren't at that point yet, and hopefully we never will be!

What exactly is wrong with a Tie Fighter for the Rebels? It's not like there's a generic version of it... Plus there's already the Z-95 so it's not like the Rebels don't have swarm ship.

Just initial negativity to not seeing what I wanted after being super hyped for the reveal. And let me tell you, I did NOT want this. And yes, thank goodness there is no generics. Not sure if it will see the table much considering Tie Fighters for Imps are hardly ever flown on their lonesome.

Three expansions in a row for Rebels with a ship with no generics for Rebels is odd though.

That I get, but I don't get why people are so hurt over Sabines Tie... I mean honestly anyone surprised by this has either not been paying attention to anything Star Wars related for the last 3 or so years.

If it were a generic Tie Fighter, then that would be different, but Sabines Tie is not a generic tie, and it looks to add quite few interesting options to the Rebel fleet.

Wave 10 is clearly the Suicide Squad of X-Wing waves.

It's already going to be my first zero purchase Wave. Wave 9 came close, but one ARC and (maybe, I'm still undecided) one Fang will probably join my collection.

This though... ugh.

I can understand and accept the Upsilon-class shuttle. Force Awakens tie-in, balances out the Heroes of the Resistance Falcon. I won't be picking one up, though, as I have no interest in the First Order ships myself.

But the Quadjumper? Really? A ship only notable for being one-shot by a TIE Fighter in a blink-or-you'll-miss-it moment in the film?

And Sabine's TIE... cute paint job, and I'm sure Rebels fans will enjoy it, but it's really not for me. I'm not fielding a TIE Fighter in a Rebel list. It's not happening. And YES, it's just YET ANOTHER TIE repaint. Ugh.

Honestly, this feels like Disney taking the reins and control of the product.

The only positive thing I can take from this is that (as the first 3 ship wave), I guess this Wave will be joined by a TIE Striker and U-Wing at the end of September.

I dunno why people would be so angry about it being included in the game, The reason I'm disappointed (not angry) though is because it essentially was a big screw you to anyone that still wanted EU ships. It's basically them saying, "Yea we can scrape the bottom of the barrel until more canon ships come around, stay tuned for Wave 11's Tyderrium shuttle, and the Imperial Z-95 flown by Clone vets!"

Yeah I'm not like super stoked for 10. I'd pick up one maybe two copies of Sabines Tie, most likely one. I won't bother with the Batshuttle or the Quad jumper.

But I just don't get the massive hate for Sabines Tie.

I think the TIE Fighter is a fine idea--cross-faction ships have been a big thing in Star Wars ever since the Tydirium.

The quad jumper though . . .

Ugh. I try to be optimistic, but honestly, putting that thing in the game seems more desperate than making up your own ship. It's literally in the movie just so they can say "that ship's garbage."

Edit -- and I'm really not sold on condition cards either. It seems weird and unnecessary, and the only one they've spoiled thus far is way too costly (three points, an action, and a crit?); Kylo could've been a much cooler crew than this.

The idea of a 4-TIE miniswarm accompanying a rebel ace makes me shiver with dread. If they wanted to rerelase a ship I'd rather have an A-wing.

Love Conditions, love the new cards, love new 0-pt EPT. The ships I can take or leave, but Upsilon Shuttle is kinda neat I guess. I'm no less unhappy with it than I was by the T-70 or TIE-FO

Sabine's tie looks cool, a crew and illicit is interesting to play with... but it will blow up real good so it's not like you wanna throw a bunch in there.

That tie played a big part for Rebels in a canon source. And it isn't going to function like an imperial tie fighter(just like in the source material).
