I'm pretty sure that FFG just announced that Rebel TIE swarms could be a thing. Sabine's TIE expansion looks like it has four unique pilots, so depending on their synergy and pointcosts, and unless there is some kind of rule that make this particular TIE unique (that'd be interesting, wouldn't it?) we could possibly see Rebel 4-TIE swarms hitting the game.

Only one can be Sabine's Masterpiece though. That said, if they're all sufficiently good and cheap, I could see all being fielded.

All 4 rebel tie's plus probably dash. Even bare, as we've seen from academies, tie's are nothing to trifle with when numbered. And these have abilities (Sabine's shuttle ability on a tie is pretty nifty)

Sabine's card is in line with imp prices, so i wager the PS7 one is 16/17pts and cheapest is 13pts

So...as it's a "TIE Fighter"...can you dock it on the Gozanti ??? Rebel cards for that, anyone ?

I hope Rebels get the Lambda too, and the Defedner and all the Ties, because nothing i sacred anymore....

Man, I can't be the only one who was really let down when they saw a Rebel TIE fighter, am I? Unless their abilities are absolutely amazing, (and Sabine's is same as the shuttle, so on its own, it's not great) I can't see them getting a ton of use right now.

Why didn't they make that transport ship from TFA or something? Are we really scraping the barrel that hard?

Reprint the old tie model, give it a different paintjob slap in some pilots and some cards (which are the easy part to print up outta nowhere, model not so much) profit!

Why do you think they released Poe's xwing even though so many repainted theirs anyway? Because so many still did not.

i would do the same thing. if i saw a trend players were proxying because its cool, i'd just release official stuff for it.

It's a TIE with access to Rebel crew and Illicits. It's going to be gross.

Yikes, now that you mention Poe's T-70, along with Sabine's TIE, I'm getting a bad feeling about this.

To be fair, the Upsilon and Quad Jumper look like they bring some interesting things to the table. It's just a little disheartening considering the current Rebel position in the meta and the ships coming down the pipe.

Looks like standard TIE fighter symbols, so by purchasing one expansion and using three normal TIE fighters, you can deploy the whole shebang and only one of them is the special ship.

If you mean FFG releasing existing models with new paint jobs... They've been doing that for a while. The reason they do that is because they can avoid the cost of a new model, release new pilots and upgrade cards and sell a ton of whatever it is. Plus people who don't like to paint a cool looking ship.

Its also effectively two ships in one, as you can use the other ship token with an Imperial TIE model and dial, or use this model with an Imperial fleet.

You'd need two expansions for all four. The ship tokens are double-sided.
