Small ship, 3 red on the side arcs? Different style with arcs (Look at this thing wow!) Evade? Yes! Yes Yes! And based on the included upgrades it has ALOT of the key upgrade pieces the Imps have been lacking - so can take engine techs perhaps, or even defensive upgrades as well!

This makes up for all the bad squadrons they are gonna make me buy!

Same amount of shields. 2/2/2 instead of 3/2/1, but same amount. Also WAY less dice than a Glad. Glads have 4 on the front, 4 on each side, as opposed to Arquittens 2 front 3 side. Yes they are red on the side, but it's still ALOT more dice for the glad.

And yes I can see that it does have 5 hull - so will certainly be more expensive than a CR-90 for a few reasons, but I think it'll still be less than a glad.

FFG tends to price red dice higher than blue or black. I'd guess it'll end up somewhere in the 55-60 range unless it's movement chart ends up especially strong or terrible.

They are priced higher, but it's got 4 less dice, so that certainly counts for something as well, and also that wide rear arc makes the 3 dice side shot good, but not as good as say, an MC-30.

Ship-based anti-squadron fire does get the range of its dice. Red AS fire would be very interesting.

I'm really holding out hope that the other side has a red/black anti-squadron. The three red on the side is awesome and all (And I'll deff. be getting 2 to protect flanks), but the ability to throw out 2 red AA dice against the increasingly powerful rebel fighter swarm...

Its an "Add", so it happens during the modify dice step.

So you must have a Die there already.

So if you're at Long Range, that initial die MUST be a Red.

Because if it was a Blue, then you're out of range, and no attack is made.

But because of the mechanic - ADD a die, and then REMOVE a Die, means that, effectively, its a REROLL that results in a Red Die...

Shooting Anti-Squadron of One Blue and Roll an ACC or CRIT? You get to Add a Red Die to that Roll, hope it rolls a Hit or Double, and then Delete the "failure" of a Blue...

"WHILE" attacking just limits you to doing it only once...

... its an Exhaust as well, so although that would also be a limiting factor, Exhaust also makes it vulnerable to MS-1 Ions.

How would it be 2 red AA? The version shown has 1 black AA.

If the other side is red+anything else, the Dual Turbolaser would convert the 'anything else' to a second red. So, you would hit all fighters at long range with 1 red and the one that you really want to kill would be hit with a second red... for the (rare) chance at 4 damage in a single shot! Across 2-3 Arquitens that's a healthy amount of softening up before your TIEs get rapid launched in there to clean up
