Am I the only one who feels like I can't afford to play both X Wing and Armada with the whiplash level of new crap coming out by the end of the year?

I'm with you. The good thing for me is that I think X-Wing has pretty much run through anything that I have any interest in playing. They are really reaching now to come out with new content and none of it appeals to me. Maybe when Rogue One, Ep 8, etc. come out there will be content that is interesting again, but for now I've lost interest. Waves 7 and 8 were Meh, waves 9 and 10 I don't intend to buy at all. More money for Armada.

I'm in a very damned if I do/ damned if I don't situation. Armada is absolutely dead in my locale* (I know people that own it, but it's tough to schedule more than the occasional game). Therefore if I give up X Wing, I give up the easiest game to get people to play. But if I hold onto Armada, it's like investing in dust collectors minus the bi-monthly trips I can manage to Philly, Central PA/WV, or NJ.

*-Before I got into a understaffed group at work, I was pimping Armada hard. It netted little result in getting people bought in and wanting to play.

Yes. I just (heavily) invested in X-wing, and have always been heavily invested in Armada, and now I'm crying a little on the inside. I may sell my X-Wing stuffs, mostly due to lack of time to play both as much as I desire. I need to retire soon!!

Release is tagged as "Late 2016"

I think this confirms the thought that Wave 3/4 were supposed to be ONE Wave, but due to production/shipping delays, they had to be pushed to a later date. This would mean that Wave 3 with all 4 ships, if following the ~6 month release schedule, should have been out in ~EoM April (Early Q2), and this one here, Wave 5 is to hit Early Q4. But now with Wave 3/4 hitting 3 months later, they're pushing release of Wave 5 as well.

I'm expecting to see these drop in late November/Early December 2016 then :>

There is no confirmation on that. It is still likely that they were kept split up to manage product count for the waves.

Same with me as well, I think I may be done buying XWing stuff, other than the really occasional thing.

Did we get any sort of time frame for the Corellian Conflict? My guess would be that it'll be out before wave 5, so hopefully won't be too long.

Nothing specific other than an expectation of SOON. The lack of plastic makes it easy to produce. My hunch from talking with them is October. At the latest I'm betting it's on sale at Worlds.

eh, I play Armada once a month maybe less. But that's because of my work schedule. Still, I think it's worth keeping it, it's the type of game that won't become boring even after 200 games. I wish I could play more, but when I play I have an absolute blast so it's worth it.

Reckon its a Defensive retrofit??? It would seem to mesh well with Shmittys reports that they are looking at fixes for VSD...

Fletchette missiles look like a interesting combo with a Raider.

Its Minister Tua, and there's absolutely no indication... I mean, it could be a Support Crew, it could be Defensive... She was basically, not harsh enough on the Lothal Rebels, and paid the price...

There were a few others that were impatient as well. I was a lucky one who resisted the siren's call until the very end of Wave 1, so I never felt like it took too long, since I was still learning the game.
