Fearlessness and aux arcs

By McFoy, in X-Wing Rules Questions

When attacking, if you are inside the defender's firing arc at Range 1 and the defender is inside your firing arc, you may add 1 (hit) result to your roll.

Does this trigger on auxiliary arcs as well?

Yep

Until pretty recently, "primary arc" was an unofficial term thrown around by players that didn't ever appear on cards, so an arc was an arc was an arc. Some of the Wave 9 stuff does interact differently with different kinds of arcs, though, so there will be some things that care about primary arc vs other kinds of arc (e.g. Seismic Torpedoes).

Fearlessness, though, isn't one of them. It just says "arc", and all arcs are arcs.

ETA: As has been pointed out, Primary Firing Arc is indeed defined in the Rules Reference. It's still not referenced on any pre-Wave 9 cards, though.

technically it applies to a ghost's special firing arc i believe.

Minor correction: "Primary firing arc" is an official term defined in the Rules Reference Guide.

No, Primary Arc always existed because of secondary weapon that can only be fired from the Primary Arc, this was never an unofficial term thrown around at all...
