The bigger issue with wave 9 pre-release is that asmodee now has no way to track whic stores break street dates, because the product is out and was purchased without issue.
At which point, why even have street dates? You have 4-5 x-wing releases a year, invalidating your release model for 20-25% of them is weird.

the biggest issue is I don't have my ARCs yet and I wanna see how amazing they look in person

why? my FLGS had a pre-order sheet going around and the official word from FFG was "we need these numbers by Aug3" - which for the scum guys they werent too happy since no reveals until the last moment...course theres still like 6 names on the list because people are procrastinators to the extreme..
Im the first one on that list. 2 arcs 3 tie/sf and a hotr. Kinda wishing i put the lancer on there because theres some juicy cards in there, even though i dont plan to run scum anytime soon yet.
