Hero's of the Resistance revel would be nice.

I love Epic but haven't any desire for an Epic S&V ship. But if so it will probably include a fix for a smaller earlier expansion. Too bad really.

Sense we have so many models now, including several S&V large ships, I would rather see content for scenery such as asteroids, asteroid bases, space stations, even smaller ones, satellites, satellite turrets, satellite becons, or even AT-ATs and AT-STs, I would love to see stand alone missions that could be combined into campaigns to use the released scenery. It would be nice to get a ships or freighters for the missions that didn't out preform fighters, maybe something like containers. Whoo Hoo!!!

I know not everyone is into this, not everyone is into Epic or even the 100 point mathwing game either.

Edit: There were some in the old computer games, and the Quadjumper as a newer one in TFA. Nice for scenarios, scenery and flavour.

Wave 9 IS on sale, at GenCon. Whenever one release is on sale, even on limited release, the next major release will come shortly, for any of their systems. Not to worry, though, as they have lately been much more on top of their release schedules, at least for other systems. Whenever one release is announced, the next release has already completed its testing phases, so the moment its on the shelf, they want to announce the following release.

100% chance we get at least one major announcement today. Probably 75+% chance that one of the announcements is a new wave.

Part of me wants a Y-Wing Aces pack, but call it something aside of Aces, because it'll be a dual faction pack with 2 new rebel Y-Wing pilots, and 2 new Scum Y-Wing Pilots. Could even include a Firespray as well and make it a triple faction upgrade, with pilots and cards for all, that MOSTLY benefit scum. Call it Scum Mercenary Pack.

If Scum got a distinct aces pack, I'd want it to be M3A and Starviper. I would want it to include a scum-only "Blinding Torpedo" - if it hits, the opponent takes only 1 damage and skips their next opportunity to attack. Some new pilots obviously, and maybe a M3A only modification that acts like guidance chips for canons. Starviper needs a special title that allows then to attack a second time after firing a torpedo or something similar. Now you've got to think, do you take Guidance Chips, or perhaps you actually go back and take Munitions Failsafe, in case you miss, now you KEEP your torp and STILL get to fire.

I actually think it would be pretty friggin annoying for them to release news about Wave X before Wave IX even officially comes out. I understand that this is just the corporate churn-n-burn approach to pumping out little plastic ships, but I'd really rather they get our current stuff to us before spending a year teasing the next thing.

Given that there's nothing in the pipe for Imperial Assault at all, only the Corellian Campaign for Armada, and just Heroes for X-Wing, I'd think we'll get something during GenCon. But I hope it's just not Wave 10. I'd like Wave 9 in general release and on the tables first. Rogue One and/or SW: Rebels will no doubt, in my mind, be the focus of pretty much all the IA and X-Wing product.

wave9 is on sale but no hotr? hmm...course they could be holding that for the store release. I remember hearing they wanted that to release along side wave9.

Gonna be rather bummed if my flgs gets the wave9 stuff but not hotr. I got a discount card waiting for a large purchase and that'd be 40 bucks not included in that discount

As has been repeatedly said, Heroes is probably being held off until Force Friday.

I DO expect Wave 10 to be announced for X-Wing. They OFTEN reveal new waves at GenCon, and often while another release is on early-sale but not at store shelves yet, so this would match their previous examples. They COULD also announce some side projects, like Rogue One mini-wave, or a Scum Huge Ship, or a Scum Aces pack too. Or all of that!

Imperial Assault I'm certain we'll see stuff for, as it has NOTHING in the pipe aside of those FFG in-house playmats, which is really just an accessory and not an expansion.

Armada is the real question here. I'm hoping they spoil something. Considering that Wave 3/4 is going on sale next week, I think it's appropriate to sneak a peak at some new stuff. If not the next wave then perhaps some type of lateral release? Maybe some type of aces pack? A Rogue One pack with new ISD titles to represent the ISD1's we are likely to see in there? I don't expect Armada to do a new core-set anytime soon though. Not unless Episode 8 has some EPIC space battles and fuels us chock-full of content. (OMG wouldn't that be awesome though?!)

Im guessing if we get any news, we get half of wave 10. The U-boat and Tie Striker are official and out there. Later we get the other half of the wave which will probably be an alternate coloured black/white x-wing and maybe the new Imperial black shuttle. Toss in a small scum ship for good meassure.

If they announce wave10, it'll probably just "forget to add" the Rogue One specific ships and show us 2-3 others that are unrelated.

Though i have to admit, other than the uboat, what the crap do rebels have left? i mean, they already gave us the ARC so that technically opens the floodgates for jedi fighters n such but i still doubt it.

Hmm...with this new mentality of free titles for ship specific abilities...jedi fighters could have a title called "Foresight" since Jedi's are known for seeing glimpses of the future... add an evade if the attacker is out of your arc.

YT-2000, Nova Courier, T-wing, Star Wars Rebels A-wing variant, the Ghost 's new shuttlecraft.

I think they could mine another year on fixing things alone. May not be what people want but makes sense thematically. The rebels don't have a ton of ships, period, so release new paint schemes and pilots for existing ships. New Xwing of course, likely Rogue One, new Ywing, been dying for those new pilots, new Ewing with fix, I mean the list goes on. Instead of a veterans set they should single blister saidship 2.0.

2. Put them on the table and play a game.
