What does everyone think? With Wave 9 now fully revealed and in some lucky few's hands, is Wave 10 inevitable? I kind of am hoping that it isn't revealed, as odd as that sounds. I really like the attention Wave 9 is getting right now, and if Wave 10 is revealed tomorrow, this whole forum is going to flip the page and Wave 9 is going to be old news before it's even been swallowed.

So do we need to prep ourselves for a big reveal tomorrow, or is there some slim chance there wont be any X-wing announcements?

Not really. There is a bunch of stuff they could announce besides a new wave.

Wait a second, when did Wave 9 hit store shelves for everyone to enjoy? I really don't want to see what's going to be coming in Wave 10 until Wave 9 has actually dropped. Now if they want to announce some Epic Scum ship or other special set that may be fine but no Wave 10 until Wave 9 has actually washed up.

Carrier type of expansion with a Scum epic alongside a Scyk and either a HWK or a Viper with some fixes for each would be splendiferous.

I think the movies will continue to cause the imbalance for a bit. I expect the next wave to have 2 new Scum ships to coincide with the special release of the U-wing and TIE Striker.

why would they announce wave10 when wave9 isnt even in stores yet. If anything, a scum epic or "aces" box since they dont have either and are due one...though epic would be more preferable since that gives them access to something they literally dont have at all while aces would just remedy some old wounds.

I love this post for a number of reasons.

We had, as a community last year I believe, rallied against a new wave being announced before the in-transit wave actually hit the stores. It really pulls away from the excitement of getting the newest releases on the table when everyone is already looking and debating about the Next Big Thing.

I'd say it's all but certain that wave 10 is Rogue One ships, so cannot (contractually from LucasFilm/Disney) be revealed before 'Force Friday' (Sept 30).

So no wave 10, here.

IMHO, it's a Scum 'epic'-scale ship (that includes a small ship release with new pilots). Could also see Scum Aces, but...my money is on their epic before their aces.

Well lets see for big X-wing news they can go with Wave 10, Scum Aces, Scum Epic/Huge, Rebel Veterans, Clone Wars content, or Prequel factions.

And on top of getting one of those they will announce something for Imperial assault, and Armada most likely as well. Heck maybe they'll even announce some large scale ground based game, ultimately though we will find out during the in-flight report.

Exactly. After the Epic Expansion and Scum Aces box- we are caught up. No more tidal-wave waves. Three ships is cool.
