If the E-Wing and X-Wing are truly in need of fixes then I hope this isn't far away. I can see, though, how it would be difficult to balance for 100 point death math and throw it out of balance in Epic. Or balance generics and over power aces.
What's the real issue with T-65's these days? With IA, they are better with the jousting value. It's really the anti-ace aspect of X-wing right now. Soontir Fel and friends just eat X-wings. That's the real issue. So.....if we look at Wave 9 and all the things that are anti-Soontir Fel and friends......maybe we won't see as many of them in the near future. If we don't see so many PTL Aces on the tables, maybe T-65's are viable again?
If the ace has more predators, then the ace will be played less, then the jouster will be worth more then the ace will have more prey then the ace will be played more, then the jouster will be worth less, then the x-wing will be less used..........................................

Nice thoughts, but I doubt you are right.
I just think that even if you are right, then that means many other jousters and non-aces will also get better, meaning it isnt going to get back to being great, it'll just be one of many ships that fill the same role, and wont even be the best at that role- nor the cheapest.

No. They clearly are not. Appeal to ridicule is not an argument. Simply stating what's happening as rhetorical questions is not an argument.
No, testing is. And seeing as this (Vector Thristers) hasn't been done to significant quantities, there is no evidence for an argument. Asserting something based on a priori inferences does not make for accurate conclusions.
