I was waiting for all spoilers to decide on my list, and I'm going to practice with the assumption Wave 9 will be available by then.

Wave 9 was changed to 'on the boat' about two weeks ago. It takes 4-6 weeks for it to get from the printer to FFG's location and 2-3 weeks after that for it to get to stores.

It's almost a constant that a wave takes 6-9 weeks from On the Boat to in stores. That means mid to end of Sept.

I still put no real faith in the Upcoming data other than to serve as a marketing tool by FFG to prime excitement levels. It's not like it's a real-time tracking system with GPS locators and email updates every time the cargo container changes locations. It's kind of adorable how so many seem to feel that there's someone at FFG with fingers at the ready over the keyboard to update everything, all the time. In the world of international shipping, any kind and number of delays can happen at any time.

It'll be here when it's here and not a moment sooner.

Not that the situation is the same, but Imperial Raider and Wave VII were at GenCon last year, and both were in stores by the end of the month. If my "now shipping" emails are accurate, the Raider was on sale by Aug. 13 and Wave VII was available Aug. 25.

Overall they're getting better with their lead times though.

Sooooo... 50-50 chance at best to have Wave IX prior to Canadian Nationals.

I believe that was also the year of the dock strikes, causing back ups.

Guess Asmodee's global release is an even bigger joke than Imperial Vets was

These will not be legal in tournaments until 11? days after they have been released to stores. FFG will want to get these out to stores in time to make them legal at World's, so I figure they will hit stores mid-October at the latest. I believe I saw a post a few weeks back showing 9/30 as the release date on a screen shot for an email that goes out to store owners.

This is shaking up like wave 5 did and they didn't release for 2 months after gencon
