Was hoping for a scum epic or veterans pack

Well there's something interesting going on here - each of the ships seems to have a "condition" that can be handed out in some way. Kylo's shuttle has 'Fanatical devotion' or something similar, the Quad jumper has 'A Debt to Pay' and Sabine's TIE has another though the name is unclear.

They are represented by cards and assigned to ships during play (The scum card is assigned during setup similarly to Agent Kallus) and seem to have a permanent effect on the ship that gets them.

Sabine's TIE also has a rebel-only title that adds a crew and illicit slot and features Asohka and what looks like it might be Captain Rex as pilots. Loads of Ion tokens in this pack, probably used by some of the upgrades.

The revealed pilot for the quad jumper is the ultimate blocker, handing out automatic tractor tokens to anyone he's touching at the start of combat.

That's actually got me way more excited than X-Wing, currently. I mean, if we got Scum epic/aces, I'd be hyped, but I love the Runewars universe and can't wait to find out more!

Really disappointed. Could have been so, so much more.

In what way is it idiotic? In the way that it will sell really well, or idiotic in the way that the Rebels get what will likely be a meh ship?

Instead of something new and interesting (even the goddamn Ressistance Brick) we get a boring TIE Fighter that has been in X-wing since the starter, with 2/4 of the pilots already in game. And it sets a precedent, the doors are open for Rebel TIE/sf for example.

EDIT Also, you can field 4 of them which is terrible for fluff reasons.

Faulty logic is faulty.

The rebels don't have a ship like this, and the paint job is very interesting. Plus the mechanics behind the ship will add something new and different to the Rebel's... So you're completely wrong there.

That's a Coordinate action, but the first time we've seen it outside of Epic.

Sabine's TIE is, conceptually, the best thing to happen to this game. Ever.

I was unpleasantly surprised by the Quadjumper... but when I saw all those tractor beam tokens, I was in.

Glad I won't try painting that TIE now... I have bad hands.

Quadjumper is also the first scum ship with a tech upgrade slot. Quadjumper and Upsilon Shuttle also appear to have new tech upgrades (two for the Upsilon, which has two tech upgrade slots in addition to two crew slots).

For me, I'm going to have an incredible temptation to run an Ahsoka TIE with Sabine crew. It probably won't be any good, but the amusement value of a TIE/ln zipping around dropping bombs is enough for me (it's not like I'm a competitive player anyway!)

Sabines tie fighter..... wtf stupid.... and I really like Rebels show! Its seriously odd.....

The Quad jumper is most interesting to me. Look forward to seeing its dial and it should be fun knife fighter.
