I'm thinking about investing in a Neb B spam list of 5-6 nebs, has anyone had much experience with this type of list either play it or against it ?
Any thoughts or insights on tactics/builds welcomed

You really have to be aware of getting flanked. Probably would get to expensive and lyr will come in here and tell me how wrong I am, but I would think about nav teams for the edge ships. Madine will be nice for these.
Well, it was Glorious at Sullust, taking 3 Neb-Bs and a handful of Fighters.
The Nebulon-B is a fantastic straight-up shooter. And taking them en-masse allows you to overcome some of its limitations:
- Important Neb-B Flanks are protected by other Neb-Bs
- Overlapping fields of Anti-Squadron Fire discourage bombers approaching too closely.
Then, at Range, with appropriate upgrades, the Neb-Bs themselves are surprisingly tanky with their double brace... A Gaggle of Nebulons with Projection Experts and Redemption in the mix can be swapping shields like... Well, I was going to make an analogy here, but decided against it. So let's just go. "They Swap shields a lot."
Lyraeus is the one to ask on it, winning a Tournament with a Quint-Neb List.

I found that Yav with Keyan and co was very good at protecting one of the flanks. My issue was I could never work out how to protect the other flank of the formation.
O definitely I'm not doing it isn't viable at all just for the op to be aware of it is all. Neb is one of my all time favorite ships and I use at least one almost every game
Madine will help on the flanking issues.

Yep I was thinking yavaris and b wings for the most exposed flank, a second generic escort with a wings or xwings on the far flank, with three supports ( one salvation) in the middle.
I think you right about having an engine tec on the flanks.
I've been trying to scrimp and save to get the Neb-Bs to really give it a go...
And I think it will get even better as you go ahead... Spinal Armaments are a good alternative to TRC/Slaved Turrets, beause you generally stay in formation, slow close, snipe at range, and then with a banked token, leap from 1 to 3 to try to jump the enemy fleet, turn, and shoot with Rear shots.

I do love Sally and yavaris, just never stepped beyond the two before, but I'm thinking a block of five nebs could be hard on both five activation demos and rhymerballs.

I've never used projection experts before but it could be something with a load of nebs...... And redemption, again never got him out before...... But those exposed flanks could put themselves back together very quickly.

Red dice are evil, straight Sith evil, and I could never justify replacing TRCs on a Neb with a Spinal. I would hate myself so much during play I would cry, ... again!
RED = EVIL

Except I said nav teams lol
The more activations, the better.
I do think that BETTER than a Neb B spam, would be CR-90 Spam, each with Turbolasre Reroute and Mon Mothma running the show.... You've now got crazy maneuverability and extremely hard hitting attacks.
But as to specifically a Neb B list I think it'd be fun. I only own 4 so can't do a true swarm of them but I'm gonna try to run more of them once the Liberty comes out.
Redemption with raymus and PE is fun
Oh! I like this thread.
First off, speed control. Don't go fast unless you need to dodge an arc. Nav tokens are your friends
Concentrate fire is a semi trap. You will find that Salvation likes it but the others like the reroll more.
If you want to run 5 to 6 of these, balance Escorts and Support Frigates. This is to make up for your lack of Anti-squadron.
Work on a staggered deployment that let's you turn and not ram. I like placing the first against the edge, the second I use my range tool and place it at the edge of close and medium with the back of the ship in front of the firsts side shield dial. Continue. Until finished.
Other than that just practice

Yeah, I think this is generally what happens:
The Neb-B is a great ship... it's just that unless you're flying it very intentionally to maximize it's strengths (double brace/3 reds up front) you're probably better off with a CR90. I personally love TRC Neb's, but every time I want to add one to my fleet, I have to ask the question: would it have been smarter to add a TRC90?
The Neb is slower both in max speed and command stack, has a fiddlier best arc, and starts taking hull damage like there's no tomorrow once flanked. In exchange, it has a sometimes crucial extra engineering point, has double braces, one more hull, stronger front shields, and the most efficient forward battery in the game. The escort variant is the cheapest source of double blue AA as well. In short, it's got some really, really specialized functions and is bar none the king of efficiency in those areas, but it's also a lot less forgiving of mistakes.
This is of course, not talking about the titles, as Salvy and Yavvy are just awesome!
Salvation TRC and activation advantage is brutal brutal damage.
Nebs are excellent to point at someone and blow that thing up.
The more activations, the better.

The question is, do you want to be mobile or a sniper. The 90 is mobile as you stated bit the strength of the Neb is that it can compete with star destroyers at long range with little issue.
I have run 3 of them a few times with good success, i usually make 2 of them escort frigates to boost the AA fire. Always take salvation, of course. I had a list with 3 and a pair of MC30s. I basically deploy with a shrimp on each end, and keep them back until the enemy really gets close, then charge the shrimps ahead to tear into the sides of the advancing ships. You will want a way to boost your manuver with the nebs, but their lower command value also helps you adapt.
3 of them will melt a victory pretty quickly

Even better......
So my thinking is
Neb b escort with yavaris
Neb b escort with tLRC
Neb b support bare bones ( first activation ship and general lamb for the slaughter)
Neb b support salvation TLRC
Neb b support, TLRC, Doddona
B wings x3
X wings x2
HWK
400 points
Missions:
P strike ( great crit generation)
Fire lines ( 15 red dice)
Minefields ( protection of flank, funnel strait to front arcs and b wings) ( considered S position as well)
Thoughts:
Should I loss a TLRC and change a b wing to farlandar and if I do that should I then loss a second ( and drop an xwing to a y wing) to get tallon on my second escort for that farlandar, farlander, farlander, farlander, farlander last/first yavaris nightmare.......
Intel Sweep is a great choice!
With waves 3 and 4 coming out you may want to wait on them because they will change up building Neb lists. I also highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend Mon Mothma as a commander. One evade sure but when you need that evade, it will save you.
Have a Liberty and a few nebs for fun.

What about Madine? And won't you be using the evades with the TRC upgrade? Madine lets you dump the Nav teams in favor of Engineering Teams or Fighter Coordination Team
