Team Covenant video coming soon too according to their Tweets.
Sorry for crappy mobile shots.
Thanks DB. One nitpick "/" is a slash, not a backslash.
Sorry for crappy mobile shots.
No they were just right. I can zoom in and read them. Thank you so much for sharing.
I think the only surprise here was that the orange resources on some dice sides are costs to be able to use that die. Nice that there's a natural income of resources and that resource generation is an addition. Also interesting that the starters are a bit unbalanced as Villains only get 20 points in characters, but Heroes get 25.
Well looks like we figured nearly everything out already. We are so good

No problem, they can be easily saved to hard drive and flipped around/zoomed in.
I was on the fence but now I'm officially hyped for the game. The gameplay is very distinct from any customizable game available on the market (Dice Masters included) and the rules are very simple, elegant and streamlined to deliver a bite-sized 20 minute match. At the same time, I can already see enough 'hooks', both in-game and for deck building, to provide a decent strategic depth and a solid number of meaningful decision points.
Now we just need good balance in the first set of cards and we have a winner.

It's the Post Bowcaster shot Kylo lol
Thanks for uploading these! It's fantastic that there is a max of 2 of any one card. This should make this game QUITE affordable. People will have so many extras that the secondary market should make everything a snap to pick up.
Ok after a little bit of fiddeling around with the information fromTeamCovenant i can make a pretty good gues at what dice will be in each starter.
Kylo Starter
Kylo Ren x2 (Starter), Mindprobe x2 (S), Lightsaber (S), F-11D Rifle (S)
First Order Trooper (Rare), First Order Tie (R ), Infantry Grenades (R )
Rey starter
Rey x2 (S), Finn (S), Lightsaber (S), F-11D Rifle (S), Force Throw (S)
BB-8 (R ), Jedi Robes (R ), Rey's Staff (R )
Edited by Reaver027Well the second die on a unique character is a steal. 3 pts for second die, I'll take that. I would have thought the second die would be 5 pts or more. Other than that looks great! Is Boba Fett in the game? If not, I'm sure he'll be along soon enough.
Unconfirmed on Boba Fett, but his dad-clone-person definetly is since we've seen the card already. For all intents and purposes that's the same character.
Come to think of it, if Boba Fett is in the base set as well, you could play a Fett Family Double Feauture Extravaganza Deck. I'm sure that's a wet dream for some people.
Edited by Don_SilvarroHaven't read the rules yet, but you can put a 2nd die on a character, but it costs you a few points?
So say, I pull a rare/legendary character in a booster - hooray! and here's his dice too - awesome! But if I want the option of the 2nd die I have to pull a 2nd copy?
That sucks doesn't it?
Or am I wrong and should just read the rules? (Which I will do eventually of course)

That's exactly how it works. To get a second die on the field, you need to acquire it, and it's packaged in the booster with a corresponding card.
I don't think that sucks. According to the deckbuilding rules, you can play any card in your deck in two copies, but in order to do that you have to acquire (buy/trade/borrow/open in a booster) the second copy. Not unlike, you know, every other collectible game in existence. If you consider that acceptable for cards, you should consider that acceptable for dice as well, since they're technically just an extension of the corresponding card. If you don't consider that acceptable, I'd say the collectible game model might not be for you, and there's nothing wrong with that - it's not for everybody.
Edited by Don_SilvarroSo, whats the collectible aspect like? How many cards? how many different die in the first set out. Game looks decent so far.
Edit: Ok i am getting a very bad feeling you have to buy at least one starter twice to get the full amount of dice for starter cards.
Edited by Reaver027Cool, thanks for figuring that out. One thing to add is that we definately know that the Rey box comes with Finn and the Kylo Ren box comes with a FO Stormtrooper that you seem to have missed.
It would seem that getting both starter sets will net you a playset of all the grey rarity "starter" cards without needing to buy the same box twice - nice if they're in fact cards that are unique to the boxes and not available in boosters. If nothing else, it shows that some thought went into setting up the distribution of cards, which makes me more optimistic on the quality of the Awakenings set as a whole.

With the set list it seems like we might have to buy a starter twice. I fear that there will not be enough Finn dice in the Rey starter.
There are 7 starter rarity cards that come with dice. So that would be 14 dice in total. From TeamCovenent pictures we already know that FO Trooper, Jedi Robes, BB-8 and Infantry grenades are in the starters. Thats 4 more dice so we are at 18.
But from the packeging we know that Kylo comes with a FO TIE.
Suddenly we are at 19 dice but we are only supposed to get 18. Now i have to heck if any dice got a deck limitation of only 1.

Yeah I get that, it just that "Awesome I pulled a Han Solo and his dice" and I could spend 3 extra points on him for his 2nd dice, but that's just not an option until I pull another.

It also means if I do pull a second Han, I have to keep the second card and I'm only allowed to use the second dice. I can't trade that card without trading the dice, which means either I have 1 Han dice in my deck, or 2 Han dice in my deck and 1 extra card that I can't do anything with and can't trade. Hopefully the distribution isn't too harsh because this would be a bummer.
Sorry for crappy mobile shots.
AWW my neck! Why did I try to read it sideways? Nah It's cool! Tnx for the pics!

Dang, I thought Finn was a booster rare and not a grey starter card, like the FO Stormtrooper. A bit of a bummer there if he comes with one die and isn't in the boosters.
