Galactic Civil War Campaign Rules 6.2.0

I have a couple of questions re: latest version of the campaign rules (6.2.1) - posting them in this thread for continuity:

1. Can the unique pilots (Squadron Commanders) without an EPT slot gain an EPT slot (by paying the 2 exp cost)?
2. How about the other ships/upgrades from Wave 10 (like the U-wing)? Where do we draw the line for this campaign?
3. Will Sabine's tie have generic pilots? (in general, it's really hard to use the ships w/o generic pilots effectively)

1. Yes, and they can do so quite quickly since they start with 1 XP. Bear in mind, that XP is to let you reroll a freak "die immediately" ejection, so spending it on an early upgrade carries some risk.

2. Ships/upgrades become playable once the entire wave has been added to Vassal.

3. No. Just like the Assault Shuttle, if you want to field generics, you will have to retrain them from other ships. I know it makes it difficult to use them, and I am fine with that. Not only should there not be a ton of those ships flying around, but this is a campaign in which not everything should be easy. If you want easy, use your faction's production starships. Plus there are a whole host of reasons why a real world military does not use rare/enemy craft.

@Rekkon any plans to convert this to 2nd ed? or would you mind helping me with that effort?
