Need to Update My Storage Solution. Thoughts?

So previously I've been using this guy:

It's a Plano 1374. It's done me solid. I use 5 plastic plano trays. One tray for each faction which holds the ships, dials, and pilot bases. The fourth tray holds all the pilot cards and upgrade cards. The fifth tray is my tournament tray, which holds my damage deck, my acrylic tokens and templates, etc.

Well, even though this case has been working great, it's now pushing maximum capacity. I have a Ghost and a Gozanti, which do not fit in these plastic trays, unlike the other large ships. To open up some extra space, I'm thinking about a second case which will be used primarily to house large ships.

I don't want it to be too loose, 'cause I'm not a huge fan of the Ghost, Gozanti and YV-666 tumbling around in the inside of an empty bin and knocking bits off of each other. Anyone have any storage solution suggestions, especially as it pertains to large ships? Thanks for your input.

I have the same case. I purchased 2 of the 4 row trays and they hold all of my small ships, dials and pilot cardboard. I plan on making one of the 3 row into a 2 row for just large ships. I have my pilot cards in the old deck boxes from the seasonal kits and upgrades in a Ultra Pro 4 card binder. I am waiting on a foam piece for the Ghost to place in the top section. I just picked up a Plano 1404 4-pistol case for my epic ships (I'm still missing the Raider). I have 2 other Plano trays for my son and I for tournaments. When I get the foam for the Ghost I will try and get pics.

In my signature is a link to my storage solution. I, also, have the 1374, but had to move beyond it for epic and large based ships.

In short, I used Plano 3700 trays that can hold the epic and large based. I put the large based ships in tuck boxes and bits of a cheap, foam, mattress for the epic. Full of pictures.

There is also someone who ordered pizza delivery bags that were 12" tall for his stuff and foam in the bags. It's pretty neat.

This is not mine, I haven't had the time to do it yet, but this is the 1404, I paid $15 at Academy Sports. I need to get an outline of the Raider sideways to see if it will fit the 4 epic ships.

The cases from Feldherr are nice but not cheap, using a hard case for most of the ships (rebel and Imperial) and a MINI Plus for the Scum. the huge ships are stored in card board boxes with foam for them too. In fact I use a hard case for Armada fleets (Wave 1 & 2) and a MAXI case for Descent and I use the Falderr foam to insert the Imperial Assault box and the expansions.

I just like the foam and cases, it was the same back in the day when I used to play GW games (but it was the GW cases then), I had many armies.

It might be as simple as reorganising the way you have them setup in your case.

Now I don't have a ghost or epic ships.

This is my setup, 6 trays in total. Combination of the 3700 and 3750 trays

I like that tournament tray, do you know what model it is, or how deep it is? I use a regular 3700 and the big section is not squared like that one.

What are theses display containers? Were do you get them?

I believe it's the 3741. Similar to the 3750 except it's water tight I believe.

Allows for a collection of large ships as well as small ones to be stored and taken easily if you aren't changing lists.

Plano 3731 works.

Battlefoam is really ideal but their time to ship is just the worst. Like the opposite of Amazon Prime; rather than 2 days, it's more like 2 months.

I use one of those for each faction. Each is decorated so I know which it contains.
