So every Tie should fly nearly the same with minor differences? Fun game you have there.Kinda tired of hearing this. The thing has an aux arc. Of course it's not going to have an interceptor dial. And thank goodness it doesn't have the same nearly identical dial the non-Defender 3 agility Ties all have, because it actually gives the faction some diversity for once. For the love of God, someone open a fang a get a shot of that dial!

What if it's as bad as the TIE/sf dial?

...But that would be pretty funny if the Protectorate has an awful dial after it's been hyped up so much.
If it's going to be a part of the TIE Fighter family, then it should look and act like a TIE Fighter, otherwise it should have been something different. This physically looks like a TIE Fighter, but doesn't resemble one in any other way. It can't even ride the novelty of being the only small ship with an aux arc, as the ARC-170 comes out at the same time, and has a better aux arc to boot.
Sorry guys, but I'm going to pull a PGS and ***** about this **** thing for a while. I was so excited for this ship, and it was nothing but a big disappointment.
No, that's not what I said. I said that the TIE Fighter family should all handle similarly. Not all TIEs, all TIE Fighters. The TIE/fo Fighter and TIE/sf Fighter are direct descendants of the TIE/ln Fighter, and they should behave like it.
You won't believe how glad I am that the dial doesn't look like the TIE Advanced or Bomber, and how thankful that it actually has 1-speed maneuvers unlike the TIE Fighters. I've been frustrated so many times because I'm in a close range fight and be able to continue fighting if I had a 1 speed straight or bank. 2 speed ones I'd guarantee to hit my opponents and 1 turns just take me out of the fight without taking me out of arc.
The SF TIE doesn't have the 5 straight but otherwise they have options for every other move. I'm much happier with the Sloops instead of the K turn. The SF has the Aux arc so I'm more interested in the Sloops changing the angle of attack then facing the same direction.
