Just another Boromir variant, with a bit of a Shire-taste (literally).

Livery of the Tower is excellent on Boromir even without resource acceleration, so with Steward it is amazing. With the Shield and Arwen, Boromir is already at 5, and there are very few enemies hitting harder than that. Captain makes it six. Livery is great against archery and other direct damage. Also, Sterner than Steel will be great, and the armor once again raises your chances of playing the shadow cancelation early.
Absoulutely! Sterner than Steel will replace Hasty Stroke no doubt. Taking out something for Livery is hard, but I really want that one. Maybe I'll just take out the lone pony to try it out.
You can just take out Blood of Númenor. Maybe against Smaug or Balrog, it is useful to have such high numbers, but 5 defense is totally enough for most of the quests, especially if you have Livery to counter direct damage, which Blood cannot.

... not sure about this. Well, not in the Against the Shadow cycle, that I am currenty playing through : maybe it's just bad karma, but more often than not those shadow cards are chaining in the craziest fashion, and some 3 or 4 attack turns out to be 6, 7 or even 8.
