Warhammer 40k fans, bad news... Matt Ward is coming back to GW

By incinerator950, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Addendum.

The last terminator captain I bought was in 1997.

f**k me... That's like 19 years ago.

They were also cheaper back then... ;)

Yeah £9 for a lead model seemed expensive then how little did we know £18 for 3p's worth of plastic for characters these days.

They swapped to a cheaper material and doubled the price.

Plastic is WAY better to work with than White metal / lead. Harder to mold too, from what I understand.

Dat finecast though.... I remember just a few months back I totally nerdraged when I opened my Captain Centos...

He wasn't a bad finecast, flawless but... still a finecast. So still ultra-fragile.

Well.....I broke my phone. It will cost too much to fix and can buy a replacement for cheaper. Still....that's $150 that I don't have. There is that guy that was interested in buying my Chaos Dwarfs army. I need to contact him. Maybe it's time to sell it so I can have a working phone.

Urgh fail cast is another thing they never apologised for.

13 pence a gallon for that resin they used existing molds yet prices went up.

I want to start a Duncan fan club.

Has nothing to do with Matt Ward but i didn't want to make another thread so here it is:

The Lord Inquisitor Teaser

Also a C strongly considering D

Right now a B considering A. Back in the Game, and if killteam becomes a more widespread thing then I'm not going anywhere.

Corvus Blackstar "Storm of Sorrow" Assembled. Now for a week or twos painting. Whoever says it's inelegant must remember it's a space marine vehicle, and with the possible exception of the Xiphen the sleekest thing I've ever seen a Space Marine admit to that isn't Mk VI armour.

This seems like pretty huge news: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2016/9/9/a-new-path-forward/

I never warhammered and never played any of the FFG games in that world, but didn't one just release recently?

What's the deal?

No one really knows but FFG has kind of a miniature wargame game with X-Wing and is going even deeper in that territory with the Runewars game and GW is making more boardgames than ver so the could view each other as competitors and decided not to renew the license.

But this mean for me i have to buy some games soon.

Papa Smurf has returned, see here and here. When I first saw all three characters in that leak I thought it's sad that in a box with the prim arch of a chapter I play I like Cypher the most. After looking at the Warhammer Comunity pictures and video I like him more but I stil say the leg pose is bad and the Forgeworld model is way better especially the armour.

So far his accomplishments are

Destroyed Cadia,

Resurect Guilliman.

This is exactly why I watch If The Emperor Had A Text to Speech Device. I am convinced that is the herald of the upcoming Age of Emparah game.

Rogal Dorn is in the video.

Guilliman (getting of his stasis throne and probaly being dissapoint with how the imperium turned out.)

Magnus.

Custodians.

I think somebody at GW is a huuuuge "Emperor's speach device" fan.

About time Cadia got destroyed! Failbaddon has been sukkin at for to long.

I'm more impressed with the Eldar waking up a new GOD.

Wait, we did this in the EOT campaign like 10 years ago?!

Yup, this is why people don't like abbadon. It took him several black crusades (not all of them were aimed at Cadia, so I'll let that slide) and when he did his big 13th he still ended up in status quo hell for ten years. Now that damned planet is finally gone and (I think) we're out of blackstone fortresses.

Typically GW: they need to do things twice before it sticks. Warhammer end times also began as a reboot of Storm of chaos. At least someone at GW has discovered the STC for a Plot Mover and things finally are finally moving forward. At breakneck speed even. Cadia has fal-The eldar have a new go- Never mind: Guilliman is back!

Night Haunter better come back or a certain Princess of the Night will be @#$! Then again I saw all that stuff involving the Prince of Crows... Maybe I should triple extra quit 40k. The only-thing I was looking forward to was the BFG Armada game, and I was looking on there forums and apparently the Chaos / Pirate / Renegade ships are a 180 of how they are in the table top game, slow and weak. They really were equal to iOM ships in firepower its just there ships were longer ranged, excluding torpedoes and nova cannons, and they had crap loads more lances than any other faction with except to eldar and dark eldar, though there attack values were all random, so they could have the worse values at times as well.

Well M'shen suposedly killed him... except there's no footage of it. Heh, would be fun if Kurze changed his mind halfway trough the assassination attempt. ;)

When Dorn comes back, it won't be Dorn, it will be Alpharius, masquerading as Dorn. Just some random conspiracy theory floating around in my head.

Nah, in a fit of depression over the louse changes in 40k lore coming M'shen cut of her own head. Night Haunter was siting at his chair dumbstruck, after seeing the Assassin lunge at him, then cut her own head off, and then her head and body slammed into his feet.
