The first wave I'm not really excited about...

By StarWarsDad1138, in X-Wing

If you want a ship that can survive all game, you don't play the sf.

Empires already swimming in those ships; we don't need more :P

And I doubt it'll go on the fix rotation. It's got potential, which is FAR more than can be said for

Most t-65 (and t-70, actually) X's

Ewing's, even poor corran doesn't get out much lately

The poor punisher

I was super excited for the TIE/sf, now I just don't care. Rebels and scum definitely came out on top... again.

I can't wait to shoot 4 times with the TIE/sf , so idk, should be fun.

How does it shoot four times again.

"quickdraw" double tap + Special Ops Training firing simultaneously out of both arcs

chances of that ever happening are pretty **** slim, to say the least

why people cant be satisfied with an uber cluster missile redline platform for FAR cheaper and PS 9...well that's beyond me

DAM-YOUR-ASS... EPIC PLAY !!!

 :P ;)

Yeah but I'm the defender guy I've been kicking butt with them since wave 4 I know how to make a six hit fighter work, and the sf is just lacking so many of the things you need to do well in even a casual setting.

I face t-70's plenty and those Arnt a major issue with astromech, AT or IA because two agility is naff, and the sf lacks both.

Even the emperor can't keep one alive.

There's no situation where you want quickdraw as the last woman standing so your gonna gun for her first and she ain't gonna survive it.

Pretty skippy you can make the Sf work if you've made pre vet Defenders work especially when PS 9 FCS backdraft costs as much as a naked untitled Delta

What? Is that single agility really oh so crucial?

You can fit Quickdraw with Omega Leader, Palp Shuttle, and Wampa.

How many A**holes do we have in this game, anyhow?

Putting a glass cannon in the place of a late game in a list designed to exploit the **** out of said late game...

Well, it's probably the exact opposite of where you want to put the SF

QuickDraw will slot much more effectively into triple aces. She draws fire and gives a huge offensive punch

The key difference there is that there's only ONE YT-1300 model in the game (soon to be two, admittedly). Between the Core Set, TIE expansion, Gozanti, Force Awakens Core Set, TIE/fo Expansion and now the TIE/sf there's SIX variations on the TIE Fighter theme.

Your "ridiculously OP HP POS" may very well have been different under thehood to a regular old HP POS, but I'll bet you didn't own a dozen of them.

I am kind of going out of context here, but that is one of the things I really like about the Star Wars universe. The Empire was always fairly uniform with their ship designs, while the Rebels had a wide variety of different ships.

That's one thing I despise about the Rogue One concept art of the "U-Wing." It looks like they were not creative in their design, and melded a X-Wing and a Y-Wing together and there is nothing really original about it. I really liked the mish-mash designs that the Rebels had, collecting fighters from where they could. The U-Wing looks like an evolution thing.

I forgive the T-70, because a government has been established and can push money into a fighter which has worked for them.

Anyways, rant over.

*Even now with the "swing wing", it has too many X and Y traits for my liking.

Oh, I think there are some pretty neat mechanics in the wave. I also like that the SF for once has another profile, not one more superagile TIE, but instead some kind of BF110.

I however, similar to posters above, are not going to mix timelines, I have so far no TFA era stuff. (I also would not be surprised that in the future, if there are enough ships, FFG might seperare timelines). And inverted black-white, whike nit FFG's decision, is rather stupid for a number of reasons)

Certainly going to get the Arc170, that ship looks so sexy with the paint scheme. Probably going to get 2, as I then can repaint one (I like weathered, grimy ships, have some Z95 and Khiraxzes like this)

Fang, maybe 1, dial is the unknown, going to be spoiled now (gencon). Do not like the look of it. I also have 5 Khiraxzes and 2 Scyks, still hoping there is a fix coming for these.

Lancer, most probably no. While mobile arc is cool, and should have been in the game from beginning, better PWT solution (design space available even for ships with 2 mobile arcs (like e.g. Man o war has), I totally dislike the look of the ship (Rebels' fault).

The way I see it is that the Shadow Caster firing ability is what everyone thinks the Millennium Falcon should have been and the TIE-SF firing ability is what everyone thinks the Lambda Shuttle should have been. Now it is too late to retrovert those two ships into what they are now unless there is going to be a real 2.0 edition. Still with only a year since 1.5 edition (TFA core set) I don't see the Shuttle getting an aux arc or the Falcon not getting a mobile firing arc.
