This league will challenge your skills and promote list variety through unique rules, pilot progression and recruitment and restriction of unique pilots!
When: Mondays 6:00 PM-Close; August 8th-Septmember 26th.
Where: Dragons Lair San Antonio
Format: 120 pt squads, Round Robbin, 8x60 minute rounds, 1 per week.

Overview: Have you ever wanted to manage your own wing of pilots? Recruiting the best and the brightest to help you achieve victory over your foe? Deploying squadrons each week in head to head battle?
Now you can! Each participant will choose one faction and be assigned an inventory of ~1270 points of generic ships unique to their faction. You will then customize the faction list to meet your personal collection and preferences. The Factions will be divided as follows: Resistance, Rebels, Empire, First Order, Mercenary, and Black Sun. See Special Rules.
Each week you will be able to upgrade survivors to the next generic pilot level and bid on unique named pilots.
Victory points (VP) will serve as both your tournament rank and a currency to bid on Pilots by PS differential from the generics or veterans you possess. Only one of each named pilot can exist in the league. Players will find they have to be careful whom they claim. Claiming a unique pilot will also claim their corresponding crew card. Unique crew can be hired as well.
Scoring:
Match Win: by eliminating more forces than lost: 4 VP
Match Loss: By losing of course! 3 VP
Bye: if you show up and play Xwing 3 VP
Bye: if you do not show up 2 VP
Makeup Match Win: 3 VP
Makup Match Loss: 2 VP
Opponent No Show but you show up and play Xwing: 1VP
No Show don't Tell you oppoennt/Host: 0 Points

1. Unique Pilots
To play a unique pilot (or their crew card) you must bid on them with your VP and a generic pilot of the same ship. The minimum bid is the difference between your generic pilot's skill and the skill of the ACE you want.
2. Unique non-pilot/ace crew
You must have the unique pilot card to play the crew version. For the unique crew/astro-mech/salvage mech who do not have pilots cards: you must bid minimum VP equal to cost of the crew card.
3. Unique pilot fate
Ace pilots are considered wounded if they are shot down (destroyed in a match) and receive a crit on their hull. If they are wounded two weeks in a row they are defeated and may not be played again during the league. Wounded pilots may recover by not being played the weak following the one in which they are wounded.
4. Generics survival PS upgrade
Generic pilots are automatically upgraded to the next PS level (if one exists) if they survive a match. You may not play the lower pilot skill version for generics who are upgraded.

6. Fleeing the battlefield:
Pilots may flee the battlefield to avoid being destroyed but are counted towards your opponents victory condition for fleeing.
