You're good with that. It's a limit on the cost of individual crew.

No, the card says you cannot equip a crew Upgrade card that cost more than 4 squad points. That's a singular reference meaning each crew card cannot be more than 4 points. If it was limited to 4 squad points for both cards combined, it would be worded in such a fashion to say that.

Worth pointing out those 2 crew members won't work together unless you have a way of removing the stress from fleet officer though! Ysannes ability kicks in during the combat phase but won't work if you're stressed.

I like Cool Hand on a Tomax shuttle with Fleet Officer, though. Might have to pick up a T-70 finally.
