@Boba rick, I don't have enough upvotes to give that post. Is this hondo guy in rebels? I've been thinking about watching it but have been dissuaded partially by my distaste for clone wars. Just couldn't get into the story telling style.

Hondo was a good character in The Clone Wars. He was one of the few characters with any depth. He has been turned into a bubbling buffoon in Rebels. But Rebels is a kiddie show, so it isn't that surprising. Yes, there are a couple decent moments in Rebels, but 90% of the time I've groaned more than I've been the least be engaged. There were groan inducing moments in Clone Wars, and I wasn't partial to some of the lore, but it was far and away better than Rebels.

A kiddie show in which heroes have their eyes cut out, Inquisitors are cut apart and blown up, and Minister Tua gets carbombed. Even though it can be juvenile at times, Rebels still tells some decent stories, and Episode IV was hardly more believable.

I want to play Yakity Sax every time they fight stormtroopers.

So like is FFG renting out the entirety of GenCon or something because they announced another new game today. Where are they going to fit all this???

I know what the new expansion is gonna be...so I hope they gonna spoil it on Gencon

Yoda (no lightsaber! non-combatant like 3po), Mara Jade, Asajj Ventress, Rancor, Gamorian Guards.

An overhaul to make uniques from Wave 1 and 2 that cost >10 points to be playable in skirmish.

Yoda and Admiral Ackbar etc. should be reward cards that give the heroes a bonus IMO, rather than running around with the heroes on missions.

I'm pretty sure Yoda wouldn't leave Dagobah and renounce his pacifism in order to help Jyn Odan kill Sszark in cold blood in High Moon.

I agree that so far he's not as good in Rebels as he was in Clone Wars, but I still like him and there's time for him to get better.

I prefer Rebels Hondo to Clone Wars Hondo. In Clone Wars, his dialogue was written clearly to make him an quippy, loveable scoundrel, comic relief character, but Jim Cummings' delivery ended up a bit flat. Either he didn't get enough direction or was struggling to do both the accent and the fast pacing of dialogue required. Or maybe they had trouble syncing him up with the animation. Either way, he does a spot-on job in Rebels, delivering perfectly paced, humoruous and quippy lines.

Come to think of it, while it's true that later Clone Wars seasons had better animation and more involved backdrops, I consider Rebels to have superior voicework overall.

I find the lack of news disturbing.

To be fair, Obi-Wan and Yoda are two totally different characters. Obi-Wan gets in cantina brawls and runs around the deathstar getting in lightsaber duels. Him accompanying the Heroes on a quest makes perfect sense.

Also, I know a lot of people do want a Yoda model, so I'm not gonna complain when they do it, I just won't personally

The Rangers pack looks.......odd and a waste since it doesn't have a movie tie with Tatooine

As sad as I will be to paint more damned Stormtroopers, at least these guys sit way above the tiles!

If they use X-Wing pegs, I'm going to deploy them 2 feet high to troll the crap out of the Rebel players / for lulz.

I knew it was going to be a return of the jedi type box. Was not expecting Jabba. So it will be interesting to see these in action at my local gaming group.
