4-LOM Crew versus 2+ focus tokens

When attacking, during the "Modify Attack Dice" step, you may receive 1 ion token to choose 1 of the defender's focus or evade tokens. That token cannot be spent during this attack.

I had 4-LOM on a ship I was firing at a ship with 2 focus tokens, I used him to name Focus tokens, Does the person controlling the ship being fired at get to use the other focus token? Or are both of them blocked?

It does not say "..Choose your defenders focus or evade tokens. Tokens of that type cannot be spent..." It says "Choose 1 of...that token cannot be spent...". So, in your example if your opponent has two or more focus tokens, and you name a focus token, then your opponent has one less focus token to spend. Which is still useful due to this from FAQ 4.2.1:

Focus, evade, and target lock tokens cannot be spent for their normal effect

more than once during the "Modify Attack Dice" and "Modify Defense Dice"
steps. For example, a ship cannot spend 2 evade tokens to add 2 evade
results. However, a ship can spend more than 1 of each token on different
effects, such as spending 1 focus token as the cost for Calculation and
another focus token focus token for its inherent effect.

If the defender has multiple of a given type of token, 4LOM is currently not useful.

Once Sensor Cluster comes out he starts to be potentially useful on multiple focus tokens.
