It should also have a dial like the jumpmaster with greens to the left and everything to the right red.

That's pretty close, but the cockpit/head is offset to the pilot's left, too...

It's just a hot mess of perspective tom-foolery....

The Action Fleet Y-wing has a dome that can extend just like that.
