A friend posted the link to this on my facebook, and I sort of fell in love. I've watched a lot of the demos that are on youtube, and this seems like a really fun game. The deckbuilding aspect is quite interesting, and with mixing the various robots and pilots adds a ton of customization. And it just oozes theme. It scratches that itch I haven't had since Monsterpocalypse.

The kickstarter is their first, but they apparently have been putting in the work. They have been working on it for 2 years, with a Gencon demo last year, so that sort of puts me at ease. Plus, their kickstarter video is much more fun than others that I have seen.

I am really excited for this, and hope that they have plans for tournament play, And, they just unlocked the coolest mech of the ones they have shown.

I highly, highly recommend checking out the youtube videos, the demo at Gencon, or their online demo on Tabletopia.

Yea Chogoking and Dai-raijin V scream of late 70s and especially 80s mecha designs, and the ShinOkami looks like their attempt at a Gurren Lagann.

The core 4 all look like those classic 70-80's era mechs. The two expansions look a bit more modern. I am glad ShinOKami was unlocked. I really like it's look, and it seems to have a neat game play mechanic, using the Static Barriers.

It's also interesting, but it also sounds like it you can have a variety of games. The free for all ends when one mech is destroyed, and then you compared the percentage of how much armor you have left to determine the winner. I think that could be a fun tournament format, comparable to AGOT's Melee format.

The pilots are all classic tropes as well. I'm already a backer and would love to dee this get another stretch goal or two before it closes This is one to back.

Second stretch goal unlocked. 6 Mechs now. Great value, and it is now a 6 player game.

24 hours left to back, and most of the goals have been met at this point.

Got so close to the soundtrack at the end.

But now, the wait begins.
