=Week 4= Growth of a Warlord

Only one chart for you guys this week, but I feel it’s a good one that’s relevant to the current conversation regarding the growth of armada.

If you missed prior posts check them out below

=Week 2= The Perfect Bid

=Week 3= The Popularity Contest

Question #1

What has been the growth of the Warlords website?

Unfortunately, we only have a small window to look at this as the site didn’t start keeping track of when users created their accounts until March 2016. From mid-March 2016 to the end of July 2016, there were 1,242 new accounts created for a total of 2,896 unique accounts. Pretty impressive. You really couldn’t ask for a more stable trend line.

The data shows a very strong growth of new accounts on the website with an average of 9 new accounts daily. (Light blue dotted line on the chart)

Question #2

What can we infer from this?

Not much. While this is good great news for Warlords it doesn’t provide a whole lot beyond the website itself. We can’t infer that the Armada community is growing as it could just be the website among the hypothetically shrinking number of Armada players is becoming more popular.

In the end, it’s a data point that is showing growth for armada which is never a bad thing.

Thats all of the week. Enjoy.

Expected discourse on the title, was pleasantly surprised.

Cool man. I really like Armada Warlords, I think it has one of the cleanest and visually-driven list builder sites out there. Are you part of the admin group now? I don't recognize the name aside from Nevetz.

I wonder what stats from SWAFT look like since I think he was there first.

Nope. All credit is Nevetz and his alone (at least to what I am aware of). I was just a curious individual that likes Armada and likes looking at data. So as long as Nevetz keeps supplying it I'll keep analyzing it.

The spike in traffic could be from the wave 3/4 stuff and people want to build lists with them.

On what day in June were there no new users? What happened that day?

There are some other users (which are credited in the Credits page) who helped gather material here and there (still missing the awesome pals who tested the mobile fleet builder). HERO himself collected the data to allow Warlords to show each expansion and Wave for all the stuff from Core Set to Wave 2. Of course I did the heavy work of building the builder, but only because I got the interest, love and help of this awesome community, which I'm proud to be of service to.

If Warlords has been only growing and growing since its release, it's also thanks to everybody who kept using it, suggested new features, reported errors, and much else. So, you can thank me, but I have to thank all of you.

Don't have a god answer for you. July 2 and 3 had nothing created. Could be there was a bug that prevented people from signing up or the site could of been down. But when the average is only 9 a day it's not outside the realm of possibility that no new users signed up.

Keep them coming PartyPotato. I find all of these charts very interesting.
