Saw this in the Bay Area X-wing group. Ivan has done an excellent job here.

Is the phone playing the sounds, or the ship?
Mindlink. Blown.
How much to get him to make me one?
I like the Phantom wings part. How is that even done?!
Seems like there's a bluetooth interface with a custom app. Accelerometer controls the thrust sound based on the ship being moved. Looks like he pushed something on the app that triggered the engine lights being turned on, too.
Phantom wings are probably just bevel pinned. It's a neat way of making a piano hinge in small models like this. Seems like he did a nice job though. The docking section looks magnetised, too.
This is my least ironic "Kudos".
There is no sarcasm.
...I know that saying it that way makes it sound like I'm being insincere, but I'm not.
...seriously. Great job, man.
That thing is awesome. the ONLY critique i have is that it would be nice if the area under the Phantom was finished off. Not sure if it was even possible on this, but Its a bit of an eye sore with the shuttle removed. other than that, its about the coolest ghost i have ever seen.
Can... can I get ALL my ships wired up like that??
EDIT: Should add an "eject" button to the app that pops the Attack Shuttle out into the air!

Sooooo Jealous!
Enhancements like that really add to a game.
FFFFFFfffuuuuuuu...

Take a stress token.
Hi there, its Ivan.
This is the first Ghost version just before the painting and the first tournament i used it.
So, the 'phantom seat' is black now and looks not so scary.
The speaker is inside ship. Phone is using for control sounds, light and calibration (will explain later).
For making phantom wings i used a can of Coca-Cola and a clip. So i made a miniature door hinges (? not sure how call it right).
Someone think that there is a magnet where the phantom is docking. But there is a photoresistor, on the video it reacts when you undocking and Ghost sounds Zeb's voice: "Understood, on my way". The second photoresistor is under the base and reacts when you lift up the ship (perform a maneuver). Both can be calibrated by the phone depending on light intensity. And there is a problem: phantom photoresistor works well everytime without any changes. The base resistor works not so well even you try to tune it (slow lifting up and shadow means low difference of light). So there is the first thing i need to change.
The second thing is the sound level. When the tournament is going it is too quiet for the noise level. Anyway i heard engine when i moved a ship. Im not sure i can improve it because there is nos so high voltage. But i really want to makes it better.
And there is another stupid thing i want to try. I want to use the second bluetooth with dice tower and motion sensor to force my Ghost sounds pewpew when I roll dice.
Epic **** is epic!
I just found a photo
So cool even a Newtype's mind is blown!
