What beats this list?

Howdy y'all!
My coworker and I have been playing lunchtime games of X-Wing for a few months, and we just can't find anything that beats this squad. My coworker has affectionately called it, the "Troll Squadron". What do you guys have that could end it? Maybe some bombs? Give me ideas!

It's pretty solid but that vessery can go down quick and he's a big chunk of your offense. The howard special moves afer you courtesy of a 2 point init bid and thats still the list to beat.

Edit: the howard brothers special is the deviation of palp aces most notably flown by jeramy howard and us national champion Duncan howard. Its fel, inquisitor, and palp shuttle with sensor jammer

Vessery doesn't need mk.ii if your going /D consider dropping that and changing VI to adaptability and put a hull upgrade on him.

He's going to be the primary target so upping his health will help.

Troll him back with 4x TLT Y's. Go rebel and make one a BLTA4 stressbot and two with R2 Astro.

Couple things come to mind

Dengeraoo. A plasma torp will eat vessery shields putting him on the defensive. Glitterstim is going to laugh at Jax when he gets into range 1. Countermeasures will scoff at omega leader. Target Lock? what target lock? (though I'd just ignore him altogether as he'll probably be doing the least amount of dmg)

Biggs Kanan with FCs, auto blaster turret, with ghost title and Ezra docked will put the fear of God into jax. You have a 4 dice primary to smoke vessery with, and he wants to joust so extra gravy. Recon specialist paired with tactical jammer will ensure Biggs lives much longer than he should, leaving Kanan untouched till mid/late game double tapping anything that wants to get into range 1 a round. (Looking at you jax)

3 scimitar bombers with tactician on each, then mara Jade, rebel captive, and fleet officer again will put tth fear of God into jax and omega. Have them escorting a crackshot tractor beam vessery. He hits vessery with the tractor beam. Move him on a rock, or closer to your bombers. 3bombers having a range 1 shot on vessery with one less agility, or anyone really, jax, omega, will damper their spirits pretty fast. Plus your vessery gets a second shot to help weaken him more by the time the bombers shoot. The fleet officer makes sure vessery has two focuses (passes him one and another to himself of another bomber) and vessery focus for his own action. Giving him a target lock and focus for both shots. Or defense. Very solid list against small base ships

2 WSP'S each with EM, 2x proxy mines, adv.Slam, and Bombardier; and Ezra w/ABT, Elusiveness, Sabine, Stealth, and proxy mine.

Decivader with Fel or Whisper if you're willing to go same faction. If not, I'd give Dash+something a go.

2x Lothal Rebel, 2x FCS, 2x Autoblaster Turret, one with Hera crew, one with Chopper crew, 1x Gold Squadron with Autoblaster Turret and R4-D6

My Mindlink Brobots squad with Mindlink, FCS, HLC, Feedback Array, Autothrusters, IG-2000.

U-Boats, albeit you'd have to be careful of Carnor. If the U-Boat player has 2 or even 3 feedback arrays, you're super done for anyways.

Crackswarm.

The 5 A-Wings with Crackshot.

So pretty much every top meta squad, including the more rare top meta squads like double lothal +3rd ship and the 5 Crackshot A-Wings and Brobots.

Palpatine is way too valuable of a card to not have in an Acewing squad. If you save Soontir from damage once with him that's 11.667 points of value, surpassing Palpatine's own cost with ONE trigger.

TIE/x7 and Juke on Vessery is just too nuts not to have. It's best to have an invincible ship than one that's slightly better offensively but can actually be killed.

Carnor is some nice meta-hatred tech, but without Palp and with his second mod not being a stealth device or hull or shield upgrade, he's going to be fragile.

5 y wings with auto blasters.. has been terrorizing the Pac NW for a while.. 40 health, auto hits

Hand it to your opponent and encourage healthy shots between each firing round.

Yea but with Vessery at ps8, the person locking for him can use the target lock if they want too. (not that you would ever spend omega leader's target lock)

If you play Rebels,the K-wings can drop mines on them all day and their high defense does nothing for mines

Take Autoblaster-Dash with Veteran Instincts and upgrades/escorts to taste and watch your opponent squirm. PS9 will allow you to arc dodge and/or snuggle up close to your target for 3 dice of autoblastery goodness. I'd probably go for Carnor first, as with a target lock you've got a decent chance of 1-shotting him. OL and Vessery aren't going to like the Autoblaster cannon much either.

But the best part will be the look on your opponents face when his list his soundly wrecked by a card as "bad" as Autoblaster Cannon. ;)

Best way to find weak points in a squad is to play it yourself a couple of times

Right now. The answer to that still question is still anything depending on your strategy. What are you flying?

You know, in all seriousness, fickle's advice about Sabine and bombs comes to play here. Neither Jax nor Omega Leader take much for damage, and their specials don't help them when things go kaboom.

use the WSF to block then use the free action after Cracken shoots to barrel roll then shot 4 dice into a ship that they cant evade

Kill Jax first then omega leader and keep the missile for the Defender

but that could change depending on what you get to shoot at first

always keep Cracken close to WSF go slow don't rush the battle wait for them to come to you
