So with Gencon coming up soon what do we all think we will see? We sort of have Wave 9 coming up here relatively soon so I don't think we will see Wave 10, though I am more than willing to be happily surprised, I somewhat imagine they might just add the Tie Striker and U-Wing to Wave 9 or make a Rogue One pack for them but we won't hear anything really about that until September. So maybe we will see them finally announcing the Scum Aces or Scum Huge ship. What is everyone else's thoughts?

I think I'm going to see 400-500 games of X-Wing, a bunch of people I haven't seen in a long time, and some new people I've never met.

Oh, you mean merchandice. Wave 10, whatever it is, is likely to be announced. I think we'll also get a +1 whatever it may be. Something for Rogue One, Scum "weak ship buff" pack, or Scum huge ship. Any of those would be cool. I'm also thinking we may see an official campaign style product like they announced for Armada.

Wave 9 will be for sale, lines for it will be long, and hopefully they will announce Wave 10. Also, there will be tournament results to discuss.

This is ridiculously true...especially as a volunteer. I can't wait for the day that I can go without selling a chunk of my soul to some gaming company.

Excited for it! First time at Gencon and I will be playing an X-Wing tournament on a Thursday instead of Saturday! I am already crying at the amount of money I am going to spend while I am there...I have determined they can just have all of it honestly.

I'll be surprised if both Wave 9 and Heroes of the Resistance aren't on sale at Gen Con. I'll also be surprised if we don't get a Scum huge ship reveal along with a Wave 10 announcement.

My outside guess would be that they are going to announce clone wars era ships.

I can see it as a Most Wanted-style pack. The Starviper mainly needed the larger pack to account for the size of the model, which won't be an issue in a $40 expansion, and Most Wanted had to add a lot of cardboard to cover the fact that it was also adding the Firespray and HWK.

I'll put my virtual money solidly on a Scum Epic announcement. Gencon would be the perfect place to announce it.

For a longshot item, I'll go with a $100 Executor-class Star Destroyer for Armada with dual Thrawn and Palpatine admiral options.

I tried to dissuade myself from believing this, but I haven't seen anyone who doesn't believe it's going to be on sale, so I'd say the community is pretty confident.

The bigger question mark is Heroes of the Resistance, considering we haven't had any preview outside of the announcement. I would be thrilled if it was available if only because I love the idea of an expansion coming out with very, very minimal spoilage. Would be a storm on the forums as we all clawed at the few attendees who were checking in here to give us ever single detail possible.

Also, I'll put money down for a scum epic or ace-like pack. It just has to happen.
