I got to play the mission in Imperial Vets again and I got to win! I think I'm about 50-50 with that mission now. We got to talk about it in our podcast last night, too. That and the Fang Fighter preview. A "short" 60 min episode ended up being about 90-100 min!

Last night we did HotAC with one of the guys from Sling Paint Gaming videos on YouTube. It was his first HotAC game. Another guy played that a few weeks ago had just showed up at the game store and saw us playing. He had stuff at home and wasn't really playing with anyone but his girlfriend. His name is Jason and he was playing a game or two last week. Jason joined in this week for HotAC. It was great! Another guy wandered back and saw us playing. He had some X-wing and Armada stuff sitting at home, but hadn't really played yet. He hung out for 30 minutes and said he would be back next week. I told him about HotAC and told him to download it to check it out. So, it's good to see the local scene growing! There have been a number of new guys and it's been nice to get them into casual games early so they don't just get beat down by the tournament lists all the time.

Next week I will be trying out a special scenario for Tie Punishers. I've got an idea for a squad of fully decked out Tie Punishers trying to blast a pirate base apart. Should be fun. I'm winging it for everything and will probably need to do some serious play testing.
