Hey I wanted to share my first mod and hopefully continue with some more over time.
It was a lot of fun and I wanted to thank the many people here doing similar projects that inspired me to try it for myself.
Also, my camera sucks =p.

Excellent work.
Looks superb and the minor mods on the the nose, tail and wings work very well.
I like the busy looking under wing area as well.
Great repaint too!
The single colour shows off your work....very nice canopy glass shading.
Great job.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
All the best,
Barry.
Thanks Barry, hopefully more to come
.
Barry said it all!
Wanted to make a T-65 in tribute to the pilots that are using these to great success in the regional season. Then I went crazy and painted matching dials...
That E-Wing mod looks familiar...oh, wait!
Nice colour scheme, like the esp the stripes on the E-wing's sides and the X-wing's nose.

Thanks Mana, that's what my friends like the most as well.
That's a clever mod. It's amazing how the canted nacelles IMMEDIATELY give the impression of an entirely different franchise...

I was about to say something similar.

Thanks guys! I was going to massacre another y-wing to do a 3 engine "defender" look but decided against it and settled on the enterprise.
This is one of my least favorite ships aesthetically speaking so I thought I would paint one
.
That's a pretty ship. Well done sir.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of that ship either, but you chose a great color combination.
Thanks guys, I have another one of these done that was inspired by fallout
.
Those gashes & dings along the leading edge! Superb.

Thanks! I'm still new to painting miniatures so I used the metal nail file that's on finger nail clippers to shave down the plastic
.
Are you joking? New to painting? Whatever you lack in experience, (allegedly!) you make up in skill and ability--IF you really are new. You must at least have some background in art, considering the way you've put colors together, the quality how you've laid down the paint (edge highlights, gradients in the cockpits, light diffusion from the engines, etc.) and your paint schemes...
In short, I'm envious of your skill, no matter how long you've been at it. Keep painting and keep posting!
Where did you get the bottom turret?
Where did you get the bottom turret?
I made it from other model parts, its a small dome with the two guns glued on

Lol thanks, I do have experience painting for sure just not models or any miniatures for that matter so to me its fair to say I'm new to it. I didn't really have knowledge of dry brushing or adding washes ect. so that was all new for sure. I just try and challenge myself with new techniques to learn faster with each project.
I was looking up techniques and came across some tanks and fell in love with white washing so I figured the ghost was best suited for the job.
I really like this. Glad to see a non-clean version!
It must be **** hard to see out of that cockpit, though!
That is SO scummy! As in Scum & Villainy.
At first blush I thought "Oh! What a dirty old ship." But I just can't help coming back again & again to look at what you've done: layers and layers of weathering, rust, mud and chipped paint and probably some blood of a Rodian's guts stemming from a deal gone south.
Superbly done! This ship deserves a name, a back-story and unique crew.
BTW: Anywhere we can get a higher resolution view & other angles?
