I do like this title for the Xwing. It would help them as what they really need is post maneuver reposition options.

I'll have to try that one out, although I think it might dilute some of the T-70's flavour.

The High PS guys would still be able to PTL off of it, so not really. Adding R2 Astromech and an essentially 2pt engine upgrade creates less effective and more expensive interceptors with shields though. I would definitely take it if it ended up being the T-65 title.
