Assuming Rudor is stressless and without violating the "once per round" rule for using actions can he, when defending, use his ability to trigger PTL, perform another action and then take a stress? The situation seems to fill all the requirements without violating any rules.

As long as he has not already used PTL in that round, he most certainly can.

Thanks, guys. I can count the number of times I've played the Imperials on both hands and have fingers left over so I'm not that familiar with their abilities. Rudy's ability with PTL seems like it could be a terror.

Just keep in mind that PtL is "once per round".
