I'd love to see ANY kind of campaign for X Wing. Some kind of DM'ed campaign with one player controlling the Imperials while Rebel Heroes fight to save the day, ala Imperial Assault, or a head-to-head campaign, or even just a collection of missions that can be used instead of the standard deathmatch.

Maybe I am just greedy, but I don't see why we should have to choose between a COOP or PVP campaign. I think FFG has the designing chops to make a campaign that can be done either way, seeing. I want both, choosing makes no sense when I can just have everything. If FFG is going to take all my money the least they could do is give me what I want for it right?

Part of the problem with FFG making something is that they probably won't make something that fans have already made on their own. So...if they did a co-op game...it wouldn't involve the AI from HotAC. They might make a Descent type version, but it would have to be different from HotAC. I mean, why bother making something that is already out there? They will have to make something different. That's why I think they will make a pvp campaign...if they ever make it.

There is also the challenge of 3 factions. Do they try to make it very generic? Do they make it Imps vs. Rebels and maybe come out with another one if this does well? I'm also interested to see how the Armada one does it. How can you do various missions and story line when you don't know what types of products people own? It has to be done in a way that anyone can play it with whatever their collection.

I do hope that Armada is the test pilot. I am happy that someone said they talked to Alex Davy and he said he recognized that there was a need.
