I don't know if its in the works but I would really like to see an official campaign box set for X-Wing.

I know we have fan made Heroes of the Atari Cluster but I would like to see a FFG X-Wing Campaign box set on my shelf.

Armada has a very similar business model and metagame design to X-Wing so it could happen.

Signing on, would love an official product. Super excited about the Armada version, but don't have anywhere near the opportunity to play Armada as I do X-Wing.

Your correct, FFG owns the rights and could do it with out paying the HOTAC people. I just kind of hope that A) the pay them for the work they did B) they bring this out as a product seeing they could make it balanced for the other ships and have some sweet templates. B can happen without A but I always like to see people get rewarded for their hard work.

I support this idea vigorously and futilely because corporate entities seldom listen to the every-man.

But yeah, I want an official X-Wing campaign. And if it's not the excellent HotAC, fine, because that means I get TWO campaigns.

Indeed. It's one thing to make the miniatures corollary to MtG, it's another to be stuck in that rut when your platform has the clear (and demonstrable) potential for such a wider track.

Plus Armada's rate of expansion has been almost non-existent compared to X-Wing's, so something like this fills a need. Not that I think we'll never see an X-Wing campaign box.

Really hoping that they do this. It would allow people a more affordable way to play the campaign, once you add in printing cost it can get a little costly.

Did they really? I heard FFG employees even play HOTAC, so I would be surprised if they did that. Its not like the guy makes any money off of it.

Yeah, my first thought when I saw the Armada campaign was, "They should make this for X-wing!" But then I remembered that part of the charm of Heroes of the Aturi Cluster is that it's all co-op with AI opponents. Then I realized that this is exactly why FFG could make a head-to-head campaign box, and it would be amazing!

FFG would be leaving money on the table if they did not produce an X wing Campaign. Its already proven popular by the unofficial fan version. FFG likes money.

Yes, please make a campaign box for X-Wing. Head-to-head or HOTAC would be amazing.

I know people have talked in the past about squadron title cards - seems to me that this would be a good product to introduce them in (as they're also introducing Rogue Squadron for Armada). Also, unlike Armada, X-Wing is small enough that they could put a mini in with the campaign material.

No matter what though, if they introduced an X-Wing campaign I'd definitely buy it.
