Are the undersides, cargo pods, of the Rebel Transports painted?

No, they aren't. I would take a picture and show you, but I already painted them because it was bugging me so much. The only part that is painted is little blue parts for engine glow.
That's okay, thanks for letting me know though, i was wondering if I'd need to paint them. If you picked up Rebellion do you know if they are the same models put with a peg or if they are different sizes?
I don't own Rebellion, but have played it twice. I think the sizes are similar, but definitely seemed different to me, though I could be misremembering.

The Intedictor model is technically smaller, but not by much. The Liberty is a skosh longer, but not as wide. In case anyone was wondering, the Interdictor gravwell tokens are red on one side, and blue on the other in case your opponent has the same effect.

Yeah, so it has both tokens. The one pictured with the dots is the one that moves obstacles, and the other one is the one that if you deploy within 3 you are speed 0. Both have a red side and a blue side.

I like them but I am not a fan of the Imperial ship camo. . .
That's how they look. I think they are probably the best looking models yet, as far as paint jobs go, though I am a fan of a cleaner look so I'll probably be taking some rubbing alcohol to the Liberty and repainting it after I get my second one.

Nope. I just compare the two games. I tried X-Wing but I just don't like the easiness of the game and the 40k feel of "Flavor of the expansion"
