I imagine the only reason Scum doesnt have them is because the main pilots that use them are rebel friendly. Han does not fit as a scum since hes got the hots for the LEADER of the rebel forces for pete's sake lol (or at least 1 of them)

The worst part about this card is that it doesn't say " YT-1300, YT-2400 and YT-2000 only. "

One would assume that, if we ever got a YT-2000, it could come with the 'Illicit' upgrade built-in (?for just some of its pilots?).

Not that I'm saying it's likely we'll get a YT-2000, given how much new stuff seems to be coming from "canon" sources, these days. Seems more than enough to keep FFG busy for the foreseeable future. But ya never know - if it does come out, though, it can just be designed and balanced from the ground-up based on the currently-available slots and meta, rather than needing to have something new and thematically appropriate 'patched in, later'.

You mean a National Tournament ? That's pretty respectable. The only thing higher is Worlds, of which there have only been 4 tournaments ever. Any ship or player that has won a tournament at the National level shouldn't be scoffed at. Sure, Dash isn't as good in the current meta, but it will always be a big deal that he won the biggest national tournament in the world one year.

It is a mod. It gives you an illicit slot. You can equip an additional mod of 3 points or less.

Agreed on it pairing well with Rey, but I'd go Cluster Missiles over Homing since you get rerolls + focus on both shots with Glitterstim + Rey's pilot ability. At that point I'd probably go Counter Measures over Guidance Chips too.

The Card Text reads

"Your upgrade bar gains the <Illicit> icon. You may equip one additional modification that costs 3 or fewer squad points."

So, it occupies your standard modification slot, and grants an Illicit slot. It also allows you to take another modification with a limited cost. So, you can take Compartments with Hull Upgrade or Counter Measures, but NOT Engine Upgrade or Shield Upgrade.

If I wasn't taking him, I'd throw navigator into his seat. With Kanan, ID, and Navigator you should be able to get in-arc shots at **** near anything moving at PS10.
