Countess Ryad

By BleakSquadron, in X-Wing

idk, even at 36 there always seems to be more than enough room for Ryad

PTL x7 Tie/mk2 Ryad

Juke x7 Vessery

LRS Deathfire with Homing, Conners and extras (could be palp, but that'd be boring)

it's called "The Mod Squad" because even Deathfire gets full mods

Don't you think the PS of these pilots works against the build? I do like this list and how it has a certain synergy to it.

ner?

why would it?

Vess fires first to benefit from the locks before anyone else has to spend them

Ryads ability might as well read

"Ptl, full mods EVERY TURN"

The flexibility that offers is absolutely incredible, far more so than just any attempted arc dodging

You know who modifies even harder? Vessery with Juke.

And you get an extra pilot skill out of it.

And you're not tied to greens for action economy. You can also bump and still get a TL.

And you're one less point than x7 PtL TIE MK II Ryad.

who cares when you can and should fly both?

PTL Ryad is not all that constrained by having to do greens since with the TIE Mk2 Engine there are 14 green maneuvers on it, including the K-turns she changes from straight greens.

And Ryad has an infinitely better dial, and she gets played a lot because dials matter. A lot.

I mean, I've had an opponent successfully block my K-4 turn, because it's not hard. But it's impossible to block someone when they have the option of a K-turn at speed 2-5.

And moving at PS 5 means you shouldn't be bumping most of the time, unless you just misjudge a move distance.
