Hi,
can Davith Elso get HIDE during his attack through his char sheet ability (while atttacking), then use another surge to buy the 2dmg surge from his lightsaber and finally spend Hidden (also says while attacking) to buy another surge line?

I don't think so. I think conditions are applied after the damage has been applied.
So:
Attack (Page 5 RRG).
Apply conditions.
Edit: Page 9 of the RRG: Conditions are applied after the attack resolves.

Also note the steps of the attack. Abilities that add or remove symbols or accuracy are applied during step 4.Apply Modifiers. Surges are spent during step 5. You can't go backwards in time.
