Can anyone tell me if the App will have extra features like ambient music, sound effects, voice overs (like reading the scenario prologue), etc? I like to pump some ambient music through my bluetooth speakers when I game to really enhance the gaming experience... and I think that'd be AWESOME to have as a part of the app.
App Features?
It's very likely that the experience will be similar to the Descent2 app. So yes.

Well, Descent app has voice overs on the prologue and on the finale and a unique ambience / sound effect on the quests. It is better not to have high expectations in this topic.
It would be nice if the app read all the "clue cards" (or whatever their digital incarnation is). But I am not holding my breath on this. While I am happy with the Descent app as is, I would have appreciated if they had voice overs for all the events that popped up. But I know this would probably exceed their budget, so I think expectation must be tempered. Really, what this app is, like the Descent app, is a glorified analog "AI" like in any standard co-op board game.
Edited by OtakuonI'm completely fine with the app being like Descent. I just wanted ambiance... I like the idea of us investigators taking our turns and only hitting the app when we explore a new room/keeper actions. Nice and streamlined. I do hope that the scenario setup asks us to take out specific map tiles, clues, items, etc. before the game starts... digging through all the components in the box would be a real disruption to the game.
