_______lessness?

Recklessness...... since they have enough ability to recharge shields etc, they can afford to be reckless

The following is already taken by the Decimator though:

Dauntless - At the start of combat, assign your ship an evade token if at least one enemy ship has you in arc.

Edited by ThisIsDavin

Listlessness- 0 pt. upgrade. When you reveal a red maneuver, you may allow your opponent to instead select one green maneuver for you to perform. If you do so, you may assign one evade token to this ship.

Ya know, that is actually not a bad way to look at this.

Sleeplessness

EPT, -3 points (This upgrade has a negative squad point value)

Rebel only

You may not perform focus actions or be assigned focus tokens

Would this actually be useful given the lack of EPT capable generics in the Rebel faction? Who might want this? Is -3 too much or not enough to give up focusing for the entire match?

34pts for a FCS Mangler Ten Numb.

21pts for Dutch with r2-d6 and -3 EPT.

14pt Blount

Seven

Selflessness

If another friendly ship within Range 1 of you is dealt any Damage cards as a result of an attack, you may receive one stress token, one ion token and one face-up Damage card. If you do, that friendly ship discards all Damage cards it was just dealt.

I'd settle for playableness

Listlessness- 0 pt. upgrade. When you reveal a red maneuver, you may allow your opponent to instead select one green maneuver for you to perform. If you do so, you may assign one evade token to this ship.

Listlessness: 88 points, modification, rebel only. During setup you may replace your entire list with a different one.

It's really fun to see how creative peolple are regarding new thread topics ;)

JarJarBinksessness - 10 points

Reduce your attack value by 3 (to a minimum of -2)

Hopelessness pre-FAQ:

Rebel only.

Hopelessness post-FAQ:

Modification

Rule the roost up until Wave 7.

Then dissappear.

It's funny because there is no 12 point or less ship with an EPT.

Which is why it's a modification ;)

Committeelessness

At the beginning of the planning phase, if Leia Organa is discarded, turn that card face up.

Obi-wan-lessness.

Oh wait, we already got that.

Undauntlessness - just because I want to see them fit it on the card!

I tend to think Rebels would have ___fulness as they are more optimistic. Maybe Hopefulness?

Let's go with Use lessness.

Sounds like Rebels to me.

Man...Rebels dominated this game for more years than any other faction and people are all down in the dumps about them now? Yeah, just wait.

LOCH less NESS

EPT, 5 points

Once per round, the first ship that declares you as the target of an attack immediately receives 3 stress tokens.

OK...I just want to throw out there that I did go to Loch Ness one time and I totally did see something in the loch. I'd been making Nessie jokes for at least a full day when myself and another girl in our group saw something very large break the surface of the water. It was scaled blue-green in the morning sun. I saw a fin with spines in it. It was a hump that broke the surface and went down. It could've been a really big fish, as some locals say that some sort of arctic sea bass got trapped in the deep depths when the ocean receded ages ago. I don't know what it was, but it was big and moved slowly. I totally don't expect anyone to believe me as I probably wouldn't believe anyone else who said something. I consider it Nessie's curse that I totally made fun of her and then saw something.

And did it make you feel like you had 3 stress tokens on you when you saw it? Or was it only 2? I really want to make sure I balanced the card idea out just right.

Joking aside, that is why I will never go to the Loch, or to Roswell or similar places where 'strange' things happen. Ignorance is bliss.

Yeah...I'd say 3 was good. I was shocked for the whole day. Just kind of astounded. You know.....that night, though, was one of the best ones of my life.

Well, I had been working in Edinburg for a few months and took a few weeks to tour the upcountry on a backpackers tour bus. I saw I could stop there for a day and wondered why not? Glad I did, though.

Palplessness.

But seriously, when is Obi-Wan coming?

There is already a card that gives a stress token to the first person to declare the card that it is equipped to as the target of the attack, rebel captive. It cost two and is a crew card, but only the empire can equip it. Don't get me wrong, that would be a great card, it's just that it's sort of taking the ability from another card, changing it's card type and faction, and increasing its effects.

I know, I looked it up so I would quote it exactly word for word except changed the 1 to a 3.

see the thing with Rebels (and plucky protagonists in general) is that they're not fearless

the strict absence of fear is something you associated to a cold machine-like persona, or someone who's able to bury their humanity deep inside in order to act with utmost efficiency (see the incredibly well trained mandalorians)

What they have is courage, which is found in the presence of fear and in the defiance thereof

problem is courage and its thesaurus family don't fit into a neat "ness" ept :(

Here, you can pick and choose from this list :

Obviously this one: hatlessness

Or less obviously: Pantslessness.

Oh!

Agelessness:

10 pts

Become a main character, when you would be destroyed, discard all damage cards and deal 4 damage to attacking ship.

Selflessness:

When in range 1 of attacking hostile or defending friendly ship you may discard a focus or evade token to cause the enemy ship to discard all focus, target lock and evade tokens.
