The way I'd run this list is try to bump the enemy with the PS 1, set Teroch behind incase the enemy passes the bump, and Boba overshoots to get the enemy in his rear arc or coming in from the side. Worst case? Enemy bypasses Fenn with boost and BR, gets no shot, and Boba has a tokenless ship to shoot.

Was looking at the 3 characters with PTL, Title, AT with a 3 point torp or initiative

Am I mad in thinking VI for Terry to maybe sneak in after Fel?

Opportunist might be fun for dem giggles. If the dial is as stress-lenient as we think it is, could be amusing.

Save 3 points and the stress and just take Fearless instead of Opportunist. If Teroch has a shot on the target of his ability Fearless will be able to trigger.

Teroch may be an awesome wingman for Opportunist 4-LOM though.

If the enemy has no shot, he's not going to end up tokenless is he? The only way for Teroch to strip tokens is to be a target.

Boosting and Barrel roll = tokenless for anyone but Soontir, it's the option of taking a shot from Boba and Teroch with no token or getting hit by just Boba with no tokens, hopefully in range 2 to punish them with stress.

Really they should just name this expansion "Fenn Rau's Mandalorian circus"

Fenn Rau is wonderful cause he's likely regional level competitive.

PS3 generics having EPT is a most welcome surprise.

*disclaimer* I'll be writing about Fang fighters in relation to 'The Meta' and tournaments.

Here are some points of reference for evaluating this Fang fighter.

> U-boat = 32 points

> Guri = 30 points

> Omega Leader + Juke + C.R. = 26 points

> Carnor Jax = 26 points

> Royal Guard Interceptor = 22 points

> A-wing green squad + autos + crack = 20 points

[A] The article says they have 6 green moves. Interceptors have 7. Likely means no 4 straight green. Soontir goes 4-straight all the time. This will be an issue for PTL Fenn Rau.

:( PS1 generic costs 20 points, and I was already resignedly expecting 19. 'Zealous Recruits' at 17 or 18 is the current appropriate pricing. Just compare to Green Squadron A-wing, which is decent.

[C] The EPT generics. Quite comparable to the Royal Guard Interceptor & Saber interceptor. Not having evade action offsets having 1 extra hull. I've never seen a Royal Guard interceptor at a tournament. Both of these Concord Dawn pilots overcosted by at least 2 points.

[D] As others have pointed out, Old Terochs token discarding is slightly worse than Carnor Jax's ability. More scum ships that troll people is always nice. Immune to proton rockets as others have said. Fenn Rau still seems straight up better. Comparing to Guri shows how overcosted Guri is. She should be 26 points, 4-points overcosted!

These are insane. No-one will ever fly a Kihraxz again. They also leave T-65 X-Wings totally in the dust. 20 points for a PS1 version, 2 more than an PS1 Interceptor with an extra hull already, swaps Evade for TL.

Kihraxz? Oh, you mean the free toy that comes inside a box of Crack Shot? Well, yeah. At least until Scum Aces come out maybe.

[D] Very Scummy ability, but still risky to be at Range 1, so we'll see how that pans out for him.

[E] The thing with the title and the EPT is that they're both better than the dice you're giving your opponent at Range 1 (plus you still get your own attack die). Going to be a very different, fun style of play, IMO.

[F] (I know you didn't letter this, but I had to address your final point as well.) To each their own, but I'm very tempted to buy 4 right away, which I've never down with any ship so far.

*C, technically, but we'll see if anyone gets the reference.

I'd be very curious to see the math of Autothrusters vs. Stealth Device on Fenn. Four dice at range 3, plus mod, vs 5 dice at range 1 and 3.

autothrusters = expecting green dice to fail

stealth device = expecting green dice to suceed

also, and I understand this might've been overlooked because of the title, Fenn's ability doesn't care about either ship's arc . You still get an extra die versus out of arc PWTs, for example

While teroch works differenly than carnor, discarding instead of blocking them from spending it does have it's advantages. For instance, it shuts down juke. And comms relay. Against carnor, you can still spend juke if you have the token from a previous round with comms relay or took the action before he got in range. And if you have an evade with comms relay, you still keep it for later rounds. Teroch blocks both.

All these adding results without dice (not changing them, simple add result) really don't seem good for the game in the long run. I'm seeing huge power creep here.

And everytime they totally make old ships look like utter crap, I'm really not for it.

Also, while people think its cool now. I feel like that Concord and Fearlessness stuff will simply end up being baby-wheels level easy: As long as you get into R1... Can't arc dodge? Cool, get free results. Can arc dodge? Ok, do that. Doesn't really promote actually good flying. It just lets do kind of do whatever you feel like, maximizing damage.

The ps1 is better compared to the alpha squadron interceptor than either a-wing. And it's definitely overcosted at 20 points. I was afraid that was what they'd cost it at (to avoid people running 5 with the title), but doesn't change the fact that it costs too much. Fenn rau is 1 point more than soontir at the same PS, which would indicate 19 points for the ps1 compared to an alpha.

The PS5 generic is the same price as the PS5 kihraxz. Both have EPTs. Going by that, the PS1 should be 1 point less than the 20 point PS2 kihraxz, which also points to 19 points.

Noting that the alpha squadron and cartel marauder are rarely seen in competitive play indicates that even 19 points is too expensive and the ps1 could have been cheaper than that even. But 20 is absolutely too much.

If it's dial is as similar as the article claims to Interceptors and A-wings, even if the specific speeds here or there are altered a bit, then there isn't likely a more efficient upgrade than Push. And remember that you don't always have to Push. If you can think ahead a bit and believe that a T Roll might be advantageous next turn, don't Push. But really you shouldn't need to T-roll very often if it has green hard turns, especially with Boost and Barrel Roll.

honestly, ito cost efficiency the fang cannot be much better. You're almost paying for a straight hull upgrade (2 points instead of 3) and those mods are hideously inefficient (so that they don't become autoinclude)

The PS5+ I think are costed fine. The ps3 probably should have been a point cheaper (I doubt you'll take it very often when you could spend 1 point more for the ps5 unless you absolutely can't fit that extra point), and the ps1 DEFINITELY should have been at least 1 point cheaper.
