My group was just finishing off 'A day late, a schilling short" last night, after starting it the week before with our own characters. We play at a RPG club in London, which covers nearly everything from DnD, Earthdawn, Dark Heresy, WFRP v2, Runequest etc. We had started late, so were one of the last groups to finish up. A couple of guys, who had finished, came over to have a look, and it was very obvious that they had never played any version of Warhammer before. They first asked whether it was a new card game, obviously impressed with the cards on show. We said no, that it was the new version of WFRP, and spent 5-10 minutes explaining how the dice pool, action cards and wound cards all worked. Obviously in the time, we could only give a limited view of the game, and nothing on the Old World setting, but the reaction was one of WONDERMENT! They loved how these elements worked, the look of them, and I suspect their uniqueness in the roleplay world . I am sure that we will get further interest and enquiries in the future. The sheer wonderment showed by these two RP gamers, was both unexpected and deeply satisfying, and must show that all the work that FFG have done, could well bring in a load more people to the WFRP universe. All power to their arm
An interesting reaction?
Hey, club, London, where?
Sorry I just moved here and I know no one *cries*
Its the 'Dragons on the Hill' club, in the Kings Stores pub near Liverpool Street station. They have a great website, with all the information you need, as well as a forum.
Sweet thank you very much.

It'll get better, mate! Wish I'd known about a good club when I moved to sarf london, it would have saved me a lot of trouble! Back in Hobbiton, Devon, tending to my herbacious borders now...
Figures you game in a pub.
As a Danish transplant I can tell you that gaming in a pub is made of win, I'm running a game for my girlfriend and 3 of our friends, but I really want to be a player as well, see the new system from that point. That said, I have never gotten to see either v2, Dark Heresy or Rogue Trader from a players perspective, only as a GM. My time is now.
I love reading such posts.
Please keep me posted about the events in the King stores pub. If you get additional inquiries and such. Like I said I love this stuff.
sincerly the norwegian dude.
