I feel like I'm missing the context behind why this is such a Yay moment...
It probably took allot of time and effort to generate it. Looks good though.
Getting a little more traction on Port Moseby.
Can't get the planet to resolve very well though.
Next project is a translation of uejini's Raptor Hunter Destroyer with a few of jedilaw's greebles.
Looks sort of like this.
Stay tuned for the next yay when I have a few of these sitting around and on the Ramilies. Hmm, what to do with the sensor tower...
Edited by SirRunOnSay Hello to the Fentex-Uejini Pattern Raptor System Ship.
Eagle eyed viewers might note something on the spine of the ship alongside the turbolaser turrets. Nothing to see here, it's just this:
Using a scale which has the Raptor at 940-960 meters long.
That also gives some information on these images:
A launch from drydock for a pair.
From R-Quad Alpha, or Byacrone Station over Port Moesby.
Or just your friendly neighborhood Ramilies Class Star Fort.
Very nice
Not as much of a yay. Just getting the spin down. Watch your stomach if you get motion sick.

Too much flame on the engines? This is supposed to be in an atmosphere.
Seems like way too much flame, considering there's zero smoke. What fuel is it using?
Check out some rocket launches videos, you can't see the flame for the smoke plumes, and when you do see the flame it's coming from an enormous fuel source. And engines far larger than what could fit on that ship.
Of course it's the future so presumably you could launch fire further.
I was under the assumption that the Imperials, since they can fit a fusion reactor in a small trash can, were using directed plasma thrusters, and it was igniting the air.
Fortunately this is only preliminary. I haven't figured out smoke yet!
Just in the middle of the main project next part.
