I know it's just spam 4 of the same ship, but this is a very interesting squad imo. First off theres a total of 24 hull and shields in a Imperial list, it is decieving however as quickdraw will burn some of her own durabillity. The zeta specialists are as punchy as any other 3 dice ship and a fair bit more flexible due to having 2 arcs. That's 8 arcs on table to dodge, and with quickdraw effectively a "no fly zone" for the likes of soontir fel. Anywhere from 4(or 5) 3 dice attacks to 8(or 10) 2 dice attacks in a round with 1-2 of them happening before combat. This is hugely interesting to me. It could also just suck though, so I'm not going to make any guarantees.

Oooh, I like this idea.

The main problem I see is initiative. You're right at 100 points, so if someone brings Palp aces with an initiative bid, Quickdraw will have trouble outmaneuvering Vader, Soontir, or a VI Inquisitor. Not sure how to fix that, though, and you could still make it work however the initiative turns out.

You should bring only debris clouds. No damage ever to the Zetas from obstacles!

no initiative? no arc-dodging

initiative? quickdraw fire before they activate

I like the debris idea, it's also an alternative baffle trigger for quickdraw. If you stress from that instead of rage you can attack from baffle and then take an action to modify your regular attack.

I don't see much reason to bid for initiative. If you're chasing a ps 9 that has the initiative, just fly so your arc is where he is instead of where he's going to be, You can shoot before he moves.

I ran a 3 SF list in the Scum & Villainy league.

Quickdraw + Title + Adapt + FCS

Backdraft + Title + VI + FCS

Specialist + Title + Collision detector

Wampa

Faced a Mynock special, and I kept initiative for myself. Backdraft and Quickdraw murdered Whisper, and the few double R1 were amazing. It came down to a 1 hull Omega and 1 hull Yorr and my specialist. I lost, but by a very narrow margin. For a first outing, it wasn't bad at all, particularly since the other player is better than I am.

I could have traded the initiative for FCS on the specialist, but that would really not have helped against Whisper...

Nice to see they're working out

Honestly, the SF might not seem super amazing next to the OMG obvious power of aces, palpatine and/or the x7 defender, but they (the named pilots especially) have some very solid potential

I am looking forward to having them on the table. There's alot to experiment with here, lots of upgrade options to consider.
