Basically there were about a dozen online polls which were tallied and finalized by common Star Wars names from both Legends and Disney. Basically a lot of people voted for EU characters and Jaina turned out the most popular. Runner ups were Galen Marek (Starkiller), Darth Talon, Captain Rex, and Dengar.

It's actually nice for EU fans.

I'm pretty sure any of Karen's ARC clones had more substance than Rex. I wanted Mara too, but Jaina was an acceptable group call.

Is that going to be sold in major stores? That could be confusing to new fans of the series.

Rex and Dengar are characters that they are gonna end up making ANYWAY - Rex is like, the ONE clone trooper they haven't made yet. And for Bounty Hunters they already haev Boba, Bossk, and IG-88, so the rest are a certainty.

What is NOT certain is my beloved Starkiller - and I'm sad because I don't care about Jaina Solo. Sam Witwer is crying somewhere.

Yup i'm still waiting on freaking Ahsoka. I haven't seen ANY of the last year's worth of releases in stores. It's all still Finn, Flame Troopers, Poe, etc. No Kanaan, no Hux, no Jango, No Ep4 Luke, no C3PO, no Revan, all this stuff that was announced sooo long ago.
