The new FAQ entry on page 6 confuses me. It says it is only one test with the two attribute pools combined. So how can I interprete that the Imperial player can apply -1~ to the resultS?
Why plural when it is only one test?

I think English is just a little ambiguous here, and both result and results are grammatically correct ways to describe what you get when you roll a bunch of dice.
It means the same thing, regardless.
