Attack Die

By quartersmostly, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Got a response from Nathan, confirming the diagram in the rulebook, and that Tetherys and Lindel are unfortunately worded:

Hi Paul,

You are correct—the blue die is the attack die and no other die is the attack die.
In the case of Tetherys (and Lindel, actually), “attack dice” does mean “attack pool” (all attack dice and power dice rolled). There are a couple times that the rulebook also uses “attack dice” when it should say “attack pool.”

My interpretation is this one :

The pool of dice for the attack are attack dice .

Inside this, there is the attack die, since there's never more than one, and power die(ce).

So, as long as the word the is not mentionned, it can be either of the dice used for an attack

I sent in the question to FFG and this is the response I got.

There are a few times that “attack dice” has been used when what was meant was “attack pool.” The good news is that every time “attack dice” is used, it always means “attack pool."

When something refers to the "attack die” (singular), it is always referring to the blue die and only the blue die.

Don´t mind my post, Zaltyre already clarified this :)
