Actually, the reason it takes so long is that there are 2 oarsmen. And they argue over the rowing song before they can go. The other guy is singing "Michael, row your boat ashore...' much to RowRow's chagrin.

Actually. The reason the boat takes so long is because there are only 2 ppl on the boat. One guy has a huge drum he keeps beating and yelling "row", and the other guy has a massive oar, which keeps the boats spinning in circles while it meanders along the ocean currents. It will come, but it all depends if there is any breeze or algae they have to float through.

I fully expect to see them pre released at GenCon. General release to follow in Sept/Oct.

Hopefully they got a faster boat this time.

to be honest, most of people's negative views on timing seem to be because of Wave 8. The vast majority of waves in X-wings history have come near their projected release dates, with the exception of Wave 8, and Rebel and Imperial Aces. My prediction is that Wave 8 was an anomaly, a hiccup in their logistics by the Asmodee acquisition. Now that they've had the time they need to sort these problems out, i think Wave 9 will in fact land close to the projected late september release. The latest i would predict is mid october.

Meh my spending on x-wing ended this year with my second vets, maybe wave 10 will have something of interest.
